Abstract: An atherectomy system that utilizes an anchoring balloon with a rotary debulker and a crossing balloon to remove or debulk lesions formed on the interior wall surface of a body vessel. The system may include a first balloon coupled to a first tubular member, a rotary debulker coupled to a second tubular member, a second balloon coupled to both the third tubular member and the axially moveable fourth tubular member such that the second balloon is disposed inside the third tubular member. Methods for operating this device are also provided.

Abstract: Microcomputer with a sleep mode system uses a non-volatile memory stack for saving system variables, then switches the microcomputer completely off to go into sleep-mode. In sleep-mode, the microcomputer sleep mode system uses a low powered clock and sensors to trigger time events and device events that power up the microcomputer when needed. When in awake-mode, the microcomputer logs any data from connected device(s). The microcomputer turns on an internet radio and transmits data logged, updates its clock time and receives any configuration updates before powering back down into sleep-mode.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling blisters. The method begins by mixing the ingredients to form a dough with a moisture content between about 35% and 60%. The dough is sheeted and cut. Thereafter, the dough is pre-heated to reduce the moisture content to between about 10% and about 45%. The preforms are then docked and dehydrated. The docking system, in one embodiment, has a backing plate and a docking device with at least two docking pins of varying lengths. The docking device is adjustable relative to the backing plate. The system also has a removing plate which removes preforms from the docking pins.

Abstract: Stereocomplex biopolymer compositions having tunable and improved mechanical properties and methods of making such compositions are disclosed. The biopolymer compositions include combinations of a matrix-forming polylactic acid comprising an essentially pure enantiomer and a tough polyester to form a polylactic acid matrix. The polylactic acid matrix is further combined with a base polylactic acid comprising an essentially pure opposite enantiomer of the first essentially pure enantiomer of the matrix-forming polylactic acid to form the stereocomplex.

Abstract: An apparatus and method that manages preventive-maintenance procedures among users and machines in a cloud network. It employs machine-readable language to: collect written documentation; convert digital audio recordings of crowd-sourced information; parse data; aggregate, normalize, compile and output the data into user-specified reports. Procedures, manuals, equipment maintenance data, and credential data go in; detailed histories of equipment maintenance and user information go out. The apparatus and method facilitates documentation of institutional-equipment-maintenance procedures at various participating locations as the maintenance is performed by a technician. It provides reports about machines in an organization, and groups of machines of identical model numbers among organizations, for use by technicians, managers and manufacturers. It serves to share the workload of managing preventive-maintenance procedures among organizations that use the data, and to provide information lifecycles of equipment.

The example method also includes calculating a choice probability for the restage product based on the estimated utility values associated with the identified awareness state, and outputting the choice probability for use in a simulation of consumer purchase.

The social network includes a plurality of nodes connected by a plurality of edges, with at least one node corresponding to the user. The method further includes determining, for each of the electronic notifications, a score that estimates whether a user interaction with the social network will result if the electronic notification is provided to the user.
