  • Publication number: 20240144609
Abstract: A location-based, multiuser, collaborative augmented reality (AR) system employs individual AR devices for viewing real-world anchors, that is, physical models that are recognizable to the camera and image processing module of the AR device. To mitigate ambiguous configurations when used in the collaborative mode, each anchor is registered with a server to ensure that only uniquely recognizable anchors are simultaneously active at a particular location. The system permits collaborative AR to span multiple sites, by associating a portal with an anchor at each site. Using the location of their corresponding AR device as a proxy for their position, AR renditions of the other participating users are provided. This AR system is particularly well suited for games.

  • Patent number: 11572248
Abstract: A flange for use on a reel, a flange adapter, and a flange stand are provided. The flange may include an outer circumference, a hub assembly, and an arbor hole adapter that is adapted to engage an arbor hole to secure the flange to the reel. The arbor hole adapter may include an expandable portion that is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. First and second expansion plates may be coupled to the arbor hole adapter and connected by shoulder bolts that guide movement of the plates between an abutting configuration and a spaced-apart configuration, allowing movement of the expandable portion relative to the reel for modified engagement. The flange stand may include a base, a support portion, and a coupler for engaging a central extension of the flange to allow the flange to be supported in an upright position.

  • Patent number: 11427484
Abstract: A salt water chlorinator assembly along a closed loop water circuit incorporates a chlorinator cell subassembly and a flow switch subassembly into respective fluidly connected chlorinator assembly housing interior portions. The chlorinator cell subassembly includes an electrolysis cell controlled by a chlorinator printed circuit board. The flow switch subassembly includes a flow sensor mounted upon a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). A flow switch cable selectively attaches to a PCBA connector. Water flow rate data generated by the flow switch sensor, communicated via an external controller to a smart circulation pump, is used to enable automatic adjustment of the pump speed based upon the flow rate data. The external controller may further alert an end user of undesirable flow rate deviations due to a condition (e.g. a clogged pump/skimmer basket and/or dirty filter) along the closed loop circuit requiring attention.

  • Patent number: 10671072
Abstract: A drone receives an initiation signal which indicates that flight and/or navigation components of the drone are to be activated. Once activated, the drone then determines its initial position using a position-identifying radio signal. The drone then retrieves, from storage, dimensions of a drone-relative geofence. The drone can then calculate, using a processor, the drone-relative geofence having the dimensions with at least a specified floor and a specified radius. The drone adjusts the motor controller inputs to prevent the drone from exiting the calculated drone-relative geofence.
