  • Publication number: 20240110463
Abstract: A wellhead bracing system for a subsea well includes a base plate assembly and a wellhead brace assembly. The base plate assembly comprises a top surface, a bottom surface, a base plate aperture, and a plurality of anchor holes. The wellhead brace assembly comprises a vertical plate assembly having a cylindrical shape, a horizontal plate assembly to which the vertical plate assembly is attached, and a vertical support assembly attached to an outer surface of the vertical plate assembly and attached to the top surface of the horizontal plate assembly. Horizontal plate holes of the horizontal plate assembly are configured to attach to studs on the top surface of the base plate to secure the wellhead brace assembly to the base plate assembly. The wellhead bracing system slides onto a wellhead of the subsea well and braces an exterior of the wellhead.

  • Publication number: 20050233662
Abstract: An adhesive-textile composite is disclosed, comprising a textile, having a minimum tear strength, to the back of which is applied either a pressure sensitive adhesive or a thermoplastic hot-melt polymer. The face side of the textile comprises a hydrophobic surface, which is achieved by use of hydrophobic yarns and/or by application of a low surface energy treatment such as fluorocarbons, silicones, or waxes. The hydrophobic nature of the textile surface acts as an adhesive release agent, providing a number of benefits, including the feature that the adhesive-textile composite can be rolled up without the use of release paper. The face of the textile component of the composite may be printed, patterned, or otherwise treated to provide decorative and/or functional characteristics, as desired, depending on the intended use of the composite.

  • Publication number: 20050233660
Abstract: Moisture permeable textile constructions are disclosed. The face side of the construction comprises a low energy surface; the reverse side of the construction may carry an adhesive that allows the construction to be securely attached to a support surface, yet may be readily removable without residue or damage to the support surface. The low energy surface may be printed, patterned, or otherwise treated to provide decorative and/or functional characteristics, as desired, depending on the intended use of the construction. Various chemical additives such as stain release agents, biocides, etc. may be incorporated into the construction.

  • Publication number: 20050181691
Abstract: A method of making fabrics having first and second surfaces that exhibit different performance characteristics by virtue of having been treated with different chemical treatments is described. In addition, fabrics having first and second surfaces that exhibit different performance characteristics, such as one surface exhibiting oil and water repellency and optionally, soil release characteristics, and the opposite surface exhibits moisture transport characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20050095933
Abstract: A textile article such as a floor covering or carpet is disclosed. In one embodiment, a floor covering is provided with a composition applied to the surface of the floor covering. The composition resists staining and dry soiling, and provides liquid repellency and stain release properties. The composition may employ a repellent component, a stain resist component, a stain release, and a particulate component. The composition may be applied to fibrous-containing textiles, such as carpeting. A method of applying the composition to a textile is disclosed. The repellent component may employ a fluorochemical, such as a fluorocarbon. The repellent may be acrylic-based or urethane-based, as two representative examples. The composition is adapted for imparting to a textile a chemical finish that will resist moisture, release stains, and resist dry soiling.
