    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a medical device for treating a cancerous tumor, the medical device having a first lead including a first wire and second wire; a second lead can include a third wire and fourth wire; and a first electrode in electrical communication with the first wire, a second electrode in electrical communication with the second wire, a third electrode in electrical communication with the third wire, and a fourth electrode in electrical communication with the fourth wire. The first and third electrodes form a supply electrode pair configured to deliver one or more electric fields to the cancerous tumor. The second and fourth electrodes form a sensing electrode pair configured to measure an impedance of the cancerous tumor independent of an impedance of the first electrode, the first wire, the third electrode, the third wire, and components in electrical communication therewith.     Abstract: A high voltage electrical connection includes an electrical receptacle connector and a mating electrical plug connector. The electrical receptacle connector includes a receptacle that is mounted over a hole in the casing and fastened thereto with a plurality of terminated electrical leads that are attached to an internal component of an electrical device inside the casing and threaded through a hole in the casing. The receptacle has a chamber including an inlet at one end that is aligned with the hole in casing and an outlet at the other end. The electrical receptacle connector also includes a terminal holder and a terminal housing, both of which are made of electrical insulation material. The holder retains the plurality of terminals, of the respective leads is inserted into the chamber through the outlet of the receptacle and retained in the chamber. The terminal housing is then inserted into the chamber via the outlet with its flange being disposed in the outlet.

    Abstract: A slide contact electrical connector preferably for an oxygen sensor is assembled in such a way as to protect the precious metal surface of multiple contact pads of an edge card 28. The edge card 28 is encased by a ceramic capsule 30. Trailing portions 54 of terminals 20 are laterally inserted into longitudinally extending channels 52 of a core 22 being radially and axially locked in place. The terminals 20 extend forward from the core 22 and are positioned about the trailing end 42 of the edge card 28 from a longitudinal direction. A collar 26 compresses the terminals 20 against the edge card 28 from a lateral direction thereby making the electrical contact. A shield 18 encircles the capsule 30, collar 26, terminals 20 and core 22 thereby protecting the electrical connection integrity. A seal 16 is disposed at a trailing end of the shield 18 penetrated by a plurality of insulated electrical wires 14.

    Abstract: A sleeve terminal which provides a continually assured level of normal force with respect to a received pin terminal, even as the sleeve member thereof may tend to relax over time. The sleeve terminal includes a sleeve member having a slot which allows the sleeve member to be resiliently expanded when a pin terminal is inserted therewithin. A pair of resilient arms characterized by an opposing V-shape are formed integrally with the sleeve member on opposing sides of the slot. The apex of the resilient arms provides a contact location with the inner surface of a barrel which is concentrically receives the sleeve terminal. A free end of each resilient arm is spaced a predetrmined distance from the sleeve member. A wire mount is connected to the sleeve member opposite the slot. In operation, a pin terminal is inserted into the sleeve member, causing the sleeve member to be resiliently expanded as the slot widens.

    Abstract: An improved IDC trim resistor connector assembly made up of a generally open top cup shape connector with side wall slots and an interior first array of terminal posts arranged for passage therethrough of a first lead wire of sensor circuitry. A first stamped metal IDC terminal is push-on mounted on the terminal posts for IDC cradling and electrically and mechanically receiving and connecting to the first lead wire. A conventional trim resistor substrate is loose mounted but accurately positioned on the connector bottom wall and has an “E” pattern of resistive material adapted for center leg laser trimming to calibrate the associated sensor circuitry. A first IDC terminal spring leg overlap contacts one side leg of the trim resistor E-pattern and thereby spring clamps the resistor substrate. A cover is snap-latch mounted on the connector and has an access opening to enable laser trimming of the trim resistor after cover installation.

The bussing plate includes an elongated planar base plate having a plurality of spaced apart, generally rectangularly shaped openings, a plurality of spaced pairs of first and second arms integral with the base plate along its opposite elongated sides and located transversely of the openings and with the arms each being folded across the base plate toward each other and bent to provide arcuate portions which face one another.

    Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a connector body having two rows of terminal cavities that are on opposite sides of a divider wall that terminates in a tapered projection that extends part way into a common lateral slot at the cable end of the connector body. A bifurcated lock member is attached to the connector body to prevent withdrawal of the electrical terminals disposed in the terminal cavities. The bifurcated lock member has two plates that are spread apart by the tapered projection so that substantially the ends of the plates are solidly behind short stop tabs of the electric terminals in the respective rows.

    Abstract: An improved method for fixing position of a land-based target site with respect to a reference site in the natural coordinate frame comprising the steps of determining geodetic azimuth between the target site and the reference target using Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites and relative positioning survey techniques; then calculating a relationship using gravity vertical deflections; and then coverting the geodetic azimuth to astronomic azimuth. This method has several advantages over conventional methods of targeting, including speed, the ability to work in all weather conditions, and improved accuracy.

    Abstract: An electrical header assembly for a printed circuit board or the like comprises a housing of thermoplastic material having a mating portion and a conductor portion and a row of laterally spaced insert molded blade terminals of stamped sheet metal construction. The blade terminals have tails which are bent vertically in a secondary bending operation to provide vertical legs which are positioned and retained by laterally deflectable walls defining channels at the end of the conductor portion of the housing. The housing has a narrow peripheral groove which is defined by confronting faces of the mating and conductor portions of the housing and which is adapted for mounting the electrical header connector on an apertured panel wall.

    Abstract: An electrical connector comprises a connector body having a plurality of longitudinal cavities which include rearward sealing portions, terminals disposed in the cavities and attached to conductors which extend out of the rearward sealing portions of the cavities and elastomeric seal sleeves for sealing the conductor end of the electrical connector. A conductor seal lock attached to the conductor end of the connector body has towers coaxially disposed on the conductors and axially compressing the elastomeric seal sleeves to ensure full insertion of the terminals and the accurate positioning of the terminals in the cavities.
