Publication number: 20060218070Abstract: A method of advertising, marketing, and auction sale of real estate properties and more particularly a method of handling last minute online bidding extensions are described. An Internet website has been designed for this purpose such that prospective customers or interested bidders may view property specific photographs and other details with respect to the property on property profile pages. In the electronic bidding format, as long as at least one bid is made within an established bid period before the deadline, the bidding can be extended for a pre-determined amount of time.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2005Publication date: September 28, 2006Inventor: William Lange

Publication number: 20060004237Abstract: The present invention addresses the processing of waste and low-value products to produce useful materials in reliable purities and compositions, at acceptable cost, and with high energy efficiency. In particular, the invention comprises a multi-stage process that converts various feedstocks such as offal, animal manures, municipal sewage sludge, that otherwise have little commercial value, to useful materials including gas, oil, specialty chemicals, and carbon solids. The process subjects the feedstock to heat and pressure in a reducing environment accomplished by controlled addition of sulfur and sodium, separates out various components, then further applies heat and pressure to one or more of those components. The invention further comprises an apparatus for performing a multi-stage process of converting waste products into useful materials, and at least one oil product that arises from the process.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2004Publication date: January 5, 2006Inventors: Brian Appel, James Freiss, William Lange

Patent number: 6898705Abstract: Disclosed is a method for automatically re-provisioning an appliance server without significant user-interaction. The disk drive of a server to be utilized as an appliance server is partitioned into at least three partitions, including a systems partition, a network operating system partition, and an images partition. A re-provisioning utility is provided, which, when activated by a user, removes the present application from the server and forwards it to a storage location on the network or in a fourth storage partition and installs another application on the server. The system is re-booted and re-configured to provide full operation of the new application.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 2001Date of Patent: May 24, 2005Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Akram Abboud, John Michael Brantly, William W. Buchanan, Jr., Peter Gerard Chin, Simon Chu, Richard Alan Dayan, Peter Thomas Donovan, David Michael Green, Timothy J. Patent number: 6636958Abstract: Disclosed is a method and hard disk configuration for accommodating different sizes of applications during an automatic re-provisioning of an appliance server. The disk drive of the appliance server is partitioned with a system partition, a network operating system (NOS) partition, a float partition, and an images partition. The float partition is utilized to provide additional space to the NOS partition and the images partition, when required. A re-provisioning utility is provided, which initiates both a create image utility and an apply image utility, whereby an image file of a current application and associated operating system is created and a stored image file of a second application is installed on the appliance server. When the apply image utility is initiated, the NOS partition is dynamically extended into the float partition server if the second application requires more space than is provided in the NOS partition.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2001Date of Patent: October 21, 2003Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Akram Abboud, John Michael Brantly, William W. Buchanan, Jr., Peter Gerard Chin, Simon Chu, Richard Alan Dayan, Peter Thomas Donovan, David Michael Green, Timothy J. Green, Frank C. Patent number: 6194655Abstract: An electromagnetic interference shielding assembly includes an enclosure and top and bottom covers. The enclosure has interconnected walls arranged in a polygonal configuration to surround an electronic component on a circuit board. Each wall has upper and lower portions extending in opposite directions. The enclosure has upper and lower releasable attachment arrangements respectively formed in the upper and lower portions of the walls and releasably engaged with the top and bottom covers. The upper and lower attachment arrangements are substantially mirror images of one another and define upper and lower annular channels that are open respectively from above and below. Each of the top and bottom covers has a main portion and side portions attached to and extending from the main portion and arranged in a polygonal configuration matching that of the walls of the enclosure.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 1999Date of Patent: February 27, 2001Assignee: Leader Tech, Inc.Inventors: William A. Lange, Sr., William A. Lange, II, Louise M. Lange, Deborah L. Clements

Patent number: 5354951Abstract: An EMI shielding assembly includes an elongated enclosure made of an electrically conductive material and having a plurality of interconnected walls arranged in a polygonal configuration to surround an electronic component on a circuit board, a plurality of mounting pins attached to lower portions of the walls and extending downwardly from a lower edge thereon for attachment to the circuit board, and plurality of inner and outer tabs formed in upper portions of the walls which extend upwardly from the lower portions thereof. The inner and outer tabs are disposed in spaced apart, alternating and offset relationship with respect to one another along the upper portions of the walls so as to create an annular channel therebetween which extends around the enclosure along the upper portions of the interconnected walls thereof.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 1993Date of Patent: October 11, 1994Assignee: Leader Tech, Inc.Inventors: William A.
