  • Publication number: 20240005147
Abstract: Systems and methods of using a surrogate machine learning model, based on a CFD model, to predict the mixing quality in steady state mixing tanks are provided. An exemplary method includes generating a plurality of training CFD models for a plurality of training steady state mixing configurations based on a plurality of steady state mixing factors associated with each training steady state mixing configuration; calculating a mixing quality for each training steady state mixing configuration using each respective training CFD model; generating a training dataset that includes the steady state mixing factors associated with each training steady state mixing configuration, and the calculated mixing quality for each training steady state mixing configuration; and training a machine learning model, using the training dataset, to predict mixing qualities for steady state mixing configurations based on based on steady state mixing factors associated with the steady state mixing configurations.

  • Publication number: 20220208297
Abstract: A computational method of modeling a bioreactor combines mechanistic models of kinetics of metabolic fluxes and flux balance analysis to predict cell culture performance. The mechanistic models include effects of process variables descriptive of extracellular environment, e.g., temperature, acidity, osmolarity, and/or metabolite concentrations. The method constrains flux rates based on the mechanistic models and computes the flux rates in view of suitable metabolic objectives. The method simulates time evolution of process variables of the bioreactor based on user input and computes performance metrics to display to the user, to control a bioreactor, and/or to train an artificial intelligence model of a bioreactor.

  • Publication number: 20200041523
Abstract: The present invention relates to diagnostic markers of fertility, reproductive dysfunction and infertility management. In particular, the invention relates a method for predicting the fertility potential of a subject, the method comprising determining the level of one or more of GDF9, BMP15 and/or cumulin in the subject.

  • Publication number: 20090172172
Abstract: In one aspect, a method for methods and systems for enabling peer-to-peer communication among visitors to a common website includes determining, by a server unaffiliated with a first URL, that a first computer is accessing the first URL via a first web browser. The method includes determining, by a server, that a second computer is accessing a second URL via a second web browser, the second URL sharing at least a hostname with the first URL. The method includes sending, from a server to the second computer, address information identifying the first computer. The method includes establishing a connection between the second computer and the first computer. In one embodiment, the method includes displaying, to a user of the first computer, a three-dimensional environment incorporating the first web browser.

  • Patent number: 6202471
Abstract: Methods of monitoring environmental variables in general and chemical composition in particular, and sensors for such monitoring. These low-cost sensors comprised multiple layers in a laminated stack. Very high numbers of sensing layers (e.g., 500) may be incorporated into a single laminated sensor device. The sensors may signal changes in environmental state such as chemical composition due to changes in sensor properties such as resistivity, capacitance, inductance, permittivity, permeability, refractive index, chromaticity, transparency to light, reflection characteristics, resonance frequency, and/or magnetic characteristics.
