  • Patent number: 11461777
Abstract: The presently-disclosed solution provides cross-ledger transfers between distributed ledgers to achieve highly-scalable transaction throughput. Disclosed are methods and instruction code for writing a cross-ledger transfer in a way that effectively transfers value from a source distributed ledger to a target distributed ledger while preventing double spending of the value. This results in the transformation of the ledgers in that the total value in the source ledger is decreased by the transferred value while the total value in the target ledger is increased by the same amount. Also disclosed are system architectures that utilize cross-ledger transfers between multiple distributed ledgers to achieve highly-scalable transaction throughput. Also disclosed are computer apparatus configured to implement cross-ledger transfers between distributed ledgers. Other embodiments and features are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11423095
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing action-recommendations (e.g., save action, collaboration action, and upload action) using cloud system operations in a cloud system. For example, action-recommendations are predicted using usage data of applications and communicated to a user (e.g., via a prompt) such that the user elects to perform or not perform the action-recommendation. In operation, usage data for an application and an action-recommendation profile are accessed. Determining that an action-recommendation should be generated is based on the usage data and the action-recommendation profile. The determination is further based on action scores and thresholds (e.g., save action, collaboration action, upload action). When the action scores meet certain thresholds, the action-recommendation is generated as a save-action-recommendation, a collaboration-action-recommendation, or an upload-action-recommendation.

  • Publication number: 20220262499
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for identifying those entities within a network that have the most influence on other entities within the network. A multi-relational network comprising links among a plurality of physicians is generated based on peer network data, wherein each link indicates a first physician that influences a second physician, and a weight of the influence. A decision by a treating physician of the plurality of physicians is decomposed, using a deep learning engine, into a magnitude of peer influence and a magnitude of control factor influence based on the multi-relational network and a plurality of control factors respectively. The magnitude of peer influence among one or more physicians in the multi-relational network is distributed among physicians in the multi-relational network based on the links each physician maintains with other physicians.

  • Publication number: 20220249994
Abstract: A single sheet water filter media for gravity filtration applications that improves flow performance over the product life while maintaining sufficient metal reduction, wherein at least two distinct density gradients of the single sheet form a physical barrier for capturing colloidal and insoluble contaminants, retaining the colloidal and insoluble contaminants until the contaminants become soluble in the fluid, and being removed by the single sheet filter media. The single sheet filter overcomes the difficulties of dual- and multi-layer filters attributable to slower flow rate realized well before the rated lifetime of the product. The two distinct density gradients of the single sheet filter media are created by exerting a force on a liquid slurry, such force resulting in the separation of higher powder loading and fibers that compose the top and bottom density gradients, respectfully.

  • Publication number: 20220224795
Abstract: The disclosed system and method detect robocalls using biometric voice fingerprints. The system receives audio input representing a plurality of telephone calls. For at least a portion of the telephone calls, the system analyzes the received audio based on a voice biometrics detection model to identify one or more biometric indicators characterizing a speaker in the analyzed telephone call. The system generates and stores a voice fingerprint characterizing the speaker based on the biometric indicators, and a time of the analyzed telephone call. The system analyzes stored voice fingerprints and times corresponding to speakers in the analyzed telephone calls to determine a frequency of occurrence of each voice fingerprint within an analyzed timeframe. If the frequency of occurrence of a voice fingerprint exceeds a threshold call quantity within the analyzed timeframe, the voice fingerprint is characterized as being associated with a robocaller.
