  • Publication number: 20260254142
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first terminal having a planar first pad for connection to a power conductor of a first flat electrical wire and a first interface for mating with a corresponding first mating terminal. The first pad is arranged substantially perpendicular to the first interface. The electrical connector also includes a second terminal having a planar second pad for connection to a power conductor of a second flat electrical wire and a second interface for mating with a corresponding second mating terminal. The second pad is arranged substantially perpendicular to the second interface.

  • Publication number: 20260163257
Abstract: A U-shaped retainer includes a spring configured to exert a contact force on a terminal against a mating terminal. In some examples, the U-shaped retainer includes a strain relief feature integrated with the spring that reduces an occurrence of overstress of the spring. In some examples, the U-shaped retainer includes a spring with a first spring portion and a second spring portion, and the U-shaped retainer includes at least one opening in the second spring portion.

  • Publication number: 20260094991
Abstract: An electrical connector for sealed applications includes a flange defining an opening surrounded by a sealing wall whose inner surface engages a resilient seal of a corresponding mating connector having a mating lever. An insulative housing carrying at least one electrical terminal is received through the opening. One or more trunnions extend from the sealing wall’s outer surface and engage camming slots in the mating lever to draw the connectors together and compress the seal, thereby creating a sealed interface.

  • Publication number: 20260066575
Abstract: A device case for a connector assembly includes a header, a base, and a set of fasteners. The base includes a body portion and a wall extending from the body portion. The wall defines a sealing surface configured to engage a seal. The set of fasteners couples the header to the base. The set of fasteners is surrounded by the sealing surface.

  • Publication number: 20250007224
Abstract: Electrical connectors coupleable through an aperture in a substrate are described. According to various embodiments, an electrical connector includes an upper mounting unit and a lower mounting unit. The upper mounting unit includes a first surface that engages with a first planar surface of the substrate, and a second surface that engages with a second surface of the substrate arranged substantially perpendicular to the first planar surface. The lower mounting unit is coupleable to the upper mounting unit through the aperture and engages with a third planar surface of the substrate opposed to the first planar surface of the substrate to secure the electrical connector in the aperture.

  • Publication number: 20240313370
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly disposed within an opening of an electrical device case surrounded by a sealing wall extending from an internal surface of the electrical device case may include a connector header configured to be disposed outside of the electrical device case. The assembly may include a potting material seal formed of a resilient material defining a conductor passage configured to receive and engage the electrical conductor and an outer edge configured to engage the sealing wall, thereby inhibiting a liquid potting material introduced into the electrical device case from intruding into the connector header. The assembly may include a seal retainer having an opening in which the electrical conductor is disposed and configured to retain the potting material seal within the sealing wall.
