  • Publication number: 20260138703
Abstract: A bumper carrier for a suspension fork includes a base plate and a retention feature. The retention feature may be configured to secure a bottom-out bumper to the bumper carrier. In some aspects, the retention feature comprises an annular wall integral with the base plate, which may at least partially nest the bottom-out bumper. The annular wall can define an annular notch surrounded by protrusions to retain the bottom-out bumper. The base plate may include apertures for coupling to a topcap. In some implementations, the bumper carrier includes at least one elastomeric portion permanently affixed to the base plate, which may be overmolded or adhesively bonded.

  • Publication number: 20260139721
Abstract: A suspension fork includes a lower tube, an upper tube telescopically engaged with the lower tube, and an air-spring assembly disposed within the lower tube and the upper tube. The air-spring assembly includes a positive air chamber, a negative air chamber, a piston dividing the positive air chamber and the negative air chamber, and a sealhead positioned proximate the negative air chamber. The sealhead includes an outer wall and an inner wall defining an aperture in which a shaft coupled to the piston is movably received. A hollow chamber is positioned between the outer wall and inner wall. A topout plate comprising a plurality of openings in communication with the hollow chamber is attached to the sealhead. The hollow chamber of the sealhead increases a volume of the negative air chamber, providing improved suspension performance.

  • Publication number: 20260138702
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a suspension fork comprising a fork leg comprising an upper tube and a lower tube slidably engaged with one another for compression and rebound, a damper assembly positioned within the fork leg, the damper assembly comprising a shaft and a sealhead coupled to the shaft, and a reservoir configured to retain bath oil in proximity to the sealhead. The sealhead is sized and positioned to splash bath oil upwards when the sealhead is driven into the bath oil during the compression of the suspension fork. The sealhead comprises a base portion and a leading portion tapering downwards from the neck. The hydrodynamic profile of the sealhead creates controlled oil displacement patterns that distribute lubricating oil to internal components including bushings, seals, and sliding surfaces during suspension movement.
