  • Patent number: 7204509
Abstract: The bar cart is composed of individual components to be assembled and readily disassembled in a knock-down manner. A body frame is made of four individual skeletal rectangular frames which are interconnected in spaced apart relation. Spacers between the individual frames of the body frame fit into slots in vertical plates on the leg frames to provide for a rigid connection between the body frame and the two leg frames. A table top fits onto outstanding arms of the leg frames and interlocks with the arms to provide a rigid structure. Guides are provided in the body frame to define compartments for receiving bottles and containers as well as to define a recess for receiving a cooler. The bar cart is transportable via wheels and is disassembled without tools into a compact condition for storage in a minimum of space.

  • Patent number: 6913317
Abstract: The chair frame of a swivel rocker is slidably mounted via a pair of sleeves on the arms of a pair of flexures mounted on the base of the rocker to allow the chair frame to be moved into different positions on the flexures. Bolts are used to secure the sleeves in place on the flexures. Movement of the sleeves along the flexures changes the position at which the weight of an occupant is transferred to the flexures and thereby changes the bending moments imposed on the flexures.

  • Patent number: 6830293
Abstract: The seat pad as a free-standing structure which provides a seat and back. A pair of contoured rigid bars are enclosed within opposite sides of a fabric sleeve to shape the sleeve into a seat and back. In addition, a web of densified padding is disposed between the bars and within the fabric sleeve to bias the rigid bars outwardly of each other to flatten the sleeve. Rows of stitching are employed to secure the padding to the fabric to provide not only reinforcement but also a pleasing aesthetic appearance to the seat pad.

  • Patent number: 6523904
Abstract: An outdoor furniture frame construction is provided with a pair of fixedly mounted rails across which and into which a plurality of plastic straps are mounted in tensioned manner. Each rail is provided with a slot to receive an enlarged end of a strap as well as a lip defined by the slot and against which a folded over end of each strap abuts. The straps are heated before being mounted in the rails to permit stretching of the strap and placement in the rails. When in place, the enlarged ends of the strap engage against the lip in each rail for anchoring purposes. Damaged straps may be readily removed without having to remove additional straps.
