Patent number: 11987287Abstract: A method for autonomously parking a vehicle-trailer system is provided. The method includes receiving sensor system data from a sensor system supported by the vehicle. The sensor system data includes images of surroundings along a driving path of the vehicle-trailer system. The method includes determining a local map based on the sensor system data. The local map includes surroundings along the driving path. The method includes receiving a user selection of an image location within the images. The image location representing a position in the local map associated with a selected location within the surroundings. The method includes determining a parking path from a current location of the vehicle-trailer system to the position based on the local map and instructing a drive system to execute an autonomous parking behavior causing the vehicle-trailer system to autonomously drive along the parking path and autonomously park in the selected location.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2020Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: Continental Autonomous Mobility US, LLCInventors: Eduardo Jose Ramirez Llanos, Dhiren Verma, Xin Yu, Matthew Donald Berkemeier, Julien Ip, Kyle P Carpenter, Francisco Alejandro Fuentes Perez, Joseph Zagroba, Victor Manuel Camacho Ruiz, Andrew Phillip Bolduc, Erick Daniel Rivera Gutierrez, William Nichols, Isemany Angelica Leal Martinez

Patent number: 11982611Abstract: A method includes providing a cartridge and the cartridge includes a slot for receiving a microfluidic chip having a set of first channels. The cartridge also includes a set of second channels and each channel of the set of second channels is coupleable to a different channel of the set of first channels during use with the microfluidic chip. The cartridge also includes an indent configured for engagement and alignment of the cartridge during use. The method also includes inserting the cartridge into a device, such that the cartridge engages a first biasing member of the device configured for alignment of the cartridge in a first direction. The first biasing member is configured to bias movement of the cartridge into locking position with a notch of the device.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2018Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: NANOCELLECT BIOMEDICAL, INC.Inventors: Sunghwan Cho, Jose Manuel Morachis, Ivan Gagne, Rick Segil, William Arthur Alaynick, Zhe Mei, Sean Phillips, Chien-Chun Yang, Dongseob Yun, Michael Jerome Benchimol, Manna Doud, Nicholas Sullivan, Constance Ardila

Patent number: 8827027Abstract: A motor car (10) has windows (28, 49) which can have a first H1 fully closed position and a lower H2 position in which water tightness is still provided but opening of a frameless window assembly/door assembly can be achieved more quickly from the point in time in which the door handle 44, 46) is operated. The Hi position may be selected as the vehicle accelerates above a given speed and the H2 position may be selected when the vehicle door is closed, and the window may also have a short-drop H3 lower re-spool H4 position or in the case of a rear window a three quarter lowered H5 position.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2010Date of Patent: September 9, 2014Assignee: Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd.Inventors: Andrew John Syvret, Adrian Charles Morgan Jenkins, William Manuel Walsh

Publication number: 20080053675Abstract: A toploading ripper loop for attachment to the tool frame of a tractor has a low silhouette, elongated, v-shaped moldboard with a support arm attached at each end of the moldboard. Each support arm is formed in the shape of an upside down “J” or hook and is defined by a first elongated portion which attaches to the moldboard, a u-shaped transition portion that transitions into a second downward extending portion that terminates in a downward facing end. The downwardly facing end is disposed to engage the slot of the tool frame carried by the tractor. A support crossbeam extends between the arms, at the apex of the transition portion and above the downward facing ends, to define an enlarged choke.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2006Publication date: March 6, 2008Inventors: Roy A.
