Upon authorization of the transfer, the electronic toy bank may send instructions to a remote server computer to update information associated with the first external account and the second external account according to the amount. The electronic toy bank can update information displayed on its display screen to reflect a balance associated with an external account, allowing the child to easily see their current savings.
