Abstract: The described technology is directed towards sending metadata related to a video to a client device, such as events that describe a portion of that video, such as in a hidden stream. In one or more implementations, the enhanced metadata comprises nodes used to build part of a relationship graph. This allows interested clients to switch between the feature playback and interacting with the metadata. Further, searches through the enhanced metadata may be performed to find matching video portions, and summaries or highlights of one or more videos may be assembled by accessing information in the enhanced metadata.

Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus and method for detecting lung cancer. The apparatus is composed of a breath capture device including a colorimetric sensor array with a plurality of chemoresponsive dyes deposited thereon in a predetermined pattern combination, wherein the dyes produce a distinct and direct spectral, transmission or reflectance response in the presence of analytes in the exhaled breath of lung cancer patients. Air flow, temperature regulation, and visual imaging components of the instant apparatus are also provided.

Abstract: There is a method for lengthening keratin fibers. The method has the steps of a) applying to the keratin fibers a composition having a solvent and one or more polymers soluble or solubilizable in the solvent b) allowing the solvent to evaporate. The composition is applied in an amount sufficient to lengthen the keratin fibers. There are also other methods for lengthening keratin fibers. There is also a mascara composition.

Abstract: A drive screw having an axial bore is disposed within a tubular container. A cap for closing the container has mounted therefrom an applicator that is insertable in the bore of the drive screw. A first seal and a second seal, on the drive screw, form with the inner wall of the container and the outer wall of the drive screw an annular compartment for housing a cosmetic composition. A normally closed channel is provided between the compartment and the bore of the drive screw. A drive on the cap and a complementary drive on the drive screw cooperate with the first seal and the second seal to decrease the volume of the compartment in which the composition is housed each time the container is opened by removing the cap. A valve opens the channel in response to the decrease in volume in the compartment when the cap is removed so as to permit composition to flow through the channel into the bore of the drive screw to contact the applicator.

Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for forming a film on a biological surface which are long-lasting, flexible, transfer-resistant, water-proof, and comfortable to the wearer. The compositions generally comprise pressure sensitive adhesive polymers, optionally with the addition of plasticizers, tackifiers, or other film formers, and are useful for formulating cosmetics and personal care products.

Abstract: The management and integration of data and categorizing and reporting the results thereof are accomplished by using at least three information levels of the data path, which comprise a transactions level, an extraction, transformation and load level, and a business information level. At the transformation and load level, data are collected from applications residing at the transactions level and extractions and calculations are performed on the collected data. The results are deposited into a data pool and presented to consumers using components residing at the business information level.
