Abstract: A method and system for transferring media on demand to a mobile computing device of a consumer is presented. A sensor in a kiosk identifies a consumer by facial recognition algorithms or identification of the mobile computing device of the consumer. An interactive display presents media that is available for download by the consumer based at least in part on the identity of the consumer. The consumer touches their mobile computing device to a short range communications interface on the kiosk which transfers the media to the mobile computing device. The media can be streamed to the kiosk from a remote content server across a network. The kiosk can process the consumer payment for the downloaded media by sending payment transactions to a payment network.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system and method for optimizing collaborative fleet performance utilizing an Internet-based analytical tool. A user accesses the online tool via a secured access portal. The user is then prompted to provide current customer information, pricing and supplying terms, and customer objectives. The system then processes the information provided, prompting the user to select those products which most closely fulfill the customer's objectives. Once the necessary information has been input into the system, the web-based analytical tool generates a professional proposal suitable for presentation by the user to a prospective customer.

Abstract: A broadcast printing system includes a first data communication network including a client device and one or more local imaging devices. A remote imaging device is coupled to the first data communication network through a second data communication network. In response to a single print request generated by an application process hosted on the client device, a print job is transmitted to the local imaging device according to a local print protocol and a print job is transmitted to the remote imaging device according to a protocol suitable for transmitting print jobs in a public data communication network such as the Internet Printing Protocol.

Abstract: The disclosed system and method provides an invoice to a customer for the use of a device by the customer. Information representative of an amount of usage of the device by the customer is recorded and maintained. A process associated with a billing party is coupled to the device through a data communication network. An invoice is provided to a billing destination at a premises of the customer on a human-readable medium having an invoice amount based upon the amount of usage of the device by the customer and pre-established billing contract rules.
