Abstract: The invention relates to a piston for an optionally pressurized container, the piston having a sidewall, an upper side and a bottom side, and at least a first circumferential seal, wherein at least the upper side of the piston is closed by a closure and made of a first elastic material, wherein the upper side is configured to deform upon a pressure change acting on the upper side, wherein the sidewall is made of a second material which is different from the first elastic material, wherein the first circumferential seal is positioned on the sidewall on its outer surface. The invention further relates to an optionally pressurized container comprising a piston as mentioned above, to a process of discharging a product from said container and to a process of manufacturing said container.

Abstract: A personal care product comprising a primary package with a thermoform portion and a lidding film. The thermoform portion includes a peripheral flange and the lidding film is peelably sealed to the peripheral flange. The primary package can comprise a moisture vapor transmission rate of less than 0.25 g/m2/day. The thermoform portion is adapted to hold a solid personal care article and the primary package can protect the personal care article from compression.

Abstract: This invention provides a blister pack comprising a base sheet having a plurality of blisters formed therein, each of which has an opening and is configured for containing a unit dose of a deformable or fragile product, with a lid sheet attached to said base sheet for covering the openings of said blisters. The blister pack further comprises a reinforcing sheet with cut-out sections that form ledges near said blister openings. Such ledges can be used for cutting the lid sheet at said blister openings and releasing the unit doses of said deformable or fragile product.

Abstract: A method to make a fastener-less single door multi-niche dual locking modular columbarium assembly for containing cremated remains with first and second single door multi-niche dual locking modular columbariums, and a plurality of spacers. The first single door multi-niche dual locking modular columbariums and additional single door multi-niche dual locking modular columbariums have a plurality of solid vertical walls, a plurality of aligned horizontal bases, a top plate, a bottom plate, a first side, a second side, a unitary door, a hinge, and a dual non-identical key locking mechanism. The fastener-less single door multi-niche dual locking modular columbarium assembly is configurable, expandable, and alignable using the plurality of modules.

The hairstyling formulation includes water, one or more hairstyling polymers, and from about 0.05% to about 2% alcohol. A spraying device is attached to the container. The spraying devices includes a valve including a valve housing including a vapor tap including a vapor tap area. A dip tube is connected to the valve. The dip tube includes a dip tube orifice including a dip tube orifice area. The ratio of the vapor tap area to the dip tube orifice area is from about 0.005 to about 0.15.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling a flow of data from a network interface controller (NIC) to a host processor coupled to the NIC. Data such as IP packets are received by the NIC and may be transmitted to the host processor for further processing such as firewall processing. The NIC is in communication with the host processor using, for example, a software driver running on the host processor. The NIC may monitor the processing load on the host processor as it handles packet data received from the NIC. As the processing load increases, the NIC may begin to throttle the quantity of packets being sent to the host processor in order to avoid overloading the host processor. The throttling may be governed by a heuristic throttling function.
