Abstract: The present disclosure relates to configuring at least one pair of devices in a physical unclonable function (PUF) apparatus and reading out at least one pair of devices for determining a persistent random PUF output. The pair of devices may be readout by measuring a physical difference between the devices/components caused by random manufacturing differences, which may then be used to determine a persistence random PUF output. Configuring the pair of devices includes measuring the random manufacturing difference and, based on that measurement, setting a readout condition for the pair of devices, which dictates aspects of the readout process that should be used for that pair of devices. Each time the pair of devices is readout in the future, it may be readout in accordance with the condition that was set at configuration.

Abstract: A safety assembly for use with a laser-directed energy weapon is disclosed. The assembly comprises a control system comprising a photodetector and a processing unit; and an optical device configured to attach to a target such that, when attached, the optical device provides a light beam to the photodetector. The processing unit is arranged to compare the received light beam against one or more predetermined attributes, and to permit the laser-directed energy weapon to fire only when the received light beam is determined to have the one or more attributes.

Abstract: The system receives a SIP call from a UE associated with the user. The SIP call includes a call setup phase and a data transfer phase, where the call setup phase precedes the data transfer phase. The call setup phase includes an exchange of multiple header fields. The system obtains the multiple header fields from the SIP call. The system determines that the call is an open-line call by identifying an optional field within the multiple header fields, where the optional field indicates that the call is the open-line call. The open-line call indicates that the user of the UE cannot engage in a conversation with a receiver of the open-line call. Upon determining that the call is the open-line call, the system notifies an operator receiving the SIP call to not engage in an audible conversation with the user.

Abstract: A dispensing package for a floor treatment composition. The dispensing package includes a coupling shell and a container. The coupling shell is engaged with the container by a neck fitment projecting from the coupling shell. The coupling shell is provided with a dispensing opening and at least two support zones. The container includes a membrane seal engaged with a sealing surface of the container. The coupling shell can provide for a connection between a container and a dispensing system.

Abstract: The system receives a SIP call from a UE associated with a user, where the SIP call includes multiple fields, and where a field among the multiple fields indicates that the SIP call is the open-line call. The system receives a first indication that the UE associated with a callee has generated a notification to the callee of the SIP call. Upon identifying the SIP call as the open-line call and receiving the first indication, the system sends a first message to the UE associated with the caller that the UE associated with the callee has generated the notification. The first message indicates to the UE associated with the caller to generate a first inaudible notification indicating that the UE associated with the callee generated the notification.

Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a method comprises monitoring a request for use of memory requested by a container manager application on behalf of a given one of a plurality of containers during runtime of the given container. The method further comprises determining that the request for use of memory has caused an exception. The exception indicates that the request has requested an invalid operation on a memory table or that the request has requested a previously not seen memory table. In response, the method further comprises determining an action to perform. The action depends on both first trustworthiness information associated with the given container and second trustworthiness information associated with the given container. The first trustworthiness information is obtained from a Third Party Reputation Service (TPRS). The second trustworthiness information is obtained based on monitoring the runtime behavior of the given container.

Abstract: An electrical conduit body assembly is provided. The assembly includes a body portion, a cover, and a movable connection. The movable connection connects the body portion and the cover to one another so that the cover can be moved with respect to the body portion between an open state and a closed state in a manner that prevents the cover from being misplaced or disassociated from the body portion.

Abstract: A system may mitigate leakage currents in charging stations for electric vehicles. The system may include a bank of one or more parallel capacitors per phase electrically coupled to an AC voltage source, wherein a neutral point of the one or more parallel capacitors is electrically coupled to a DC ground; a bank of one or more inductors per phase electrically coupled to the one or more parallel capacitors, wherein each inductor is in series with and downstream from one capacitor; a rectifier electrically coupled to and downstream from the one or more parallel inductors, wherein the rectifier converts the AC voltage source to a DC voltage for supply to a battery; a DC bus electrically coupled to the rectifier; and a controller, wherein the controller is configured to mitigate leakage currents by controlling a voltage of at least one of the bank of one or more parallel capacitors.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for controlling a robot via a foot-operable controller. The foot-operable controller includes a grid of large pressure-sensitive tiles that are responsive to being stepped on. Signals from the pressure-sensitive tiles are provided to a controller interface that converts the signals to control messages compatible with existing robot control interfaces, such as a universal serial bus. The foot-operable controller may be used to control various robots, including for example a robot equipped with a claw arm or a robot equipped with a ring launcher.

Abstract: A virus scanning router may manages a local network, including routing network traffic between devices on the network and routing network traffic being sent to and from such devices via an external communication system. The virus scanning router remotely scans for viruses the files stored on one or more such devices on the network. The virus scanning router may be a device trusted by the other devices on local network to facilitate the virus scanning router reading and scanning one or more files stored on such devices for viruses. The virus scanning router also takes corrective actions such as isolating the infected device or isolating an affected network zone to which the remote device belongs.

Abstract: Herein is disclosed a method of verifying the authenticity of text messages sent from a sender to a recipient. The text messages each having a sender's address and a user-accessible field for receiving content. The content of the user-accessible field is visible to the recipient upon opening the text message in the second text message application. The method includes the steps of identifying the receiver for a message to be sent by the sender, generating a current sequence marker for the receiver, inserting the current sequence marker into the user-accessible filed of the text message, and then s ending the message. The current sequence marker represents a next sequence identifier in a sequence of text messages between the sender and the receiver.

Abstract: Herein is disclosed a method of verifying the completeness and authenticity of instant messages sent from a first instant messaging application of a sender to a second instant messaging application of a recipient, the instant messages each having a sender's address and a user-accessible field for receiving content. The content of the user-accessible field is visible to the recipient upon opening the instant message in the second instant messaging application. The method includes the steps of identifying the receiver for an instant message to be sent by the sender, generating a current sequence marker for the receiver, inserting the current sequence marker into the user-accessible field of the instant message, and then sending the message. The current sequence marker represents a next sequence identifier in a sequence of instant messages between the sender and the receiver.

Abstract: Disclosed is a spool valve to valve a fluid between at least one inlet port and at least one outlet port, having a bore with a spool operably associated therein. The bore has one or more inlet ports and at least one outlet port. Located in the bore is at least one in-bore seal, the seal fluidly sealing on a seal outer diameter to an inside diameter of the bore, and selectively fluidly sealing on a seal inside diameter to a spool outside diameter. Present also is at least one spacer located in the bore, adjacent the at least one in-bore seal having a fluid communication from a spacer internal diameter to a spacer external diameter with at least one inlet port, or the at least one outlet port. The spool moves to allow or prevent flow from an inlet port to outlet port.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a natural language question (NLQ) query service within a service provider network that provides row level security (RLS) for autocomplete during entry of NLQs and fuzzy matching in NLQ answering. The rules take the form of per-user predicates such as Tim can only see rows with region=US. In configurations a complex extraction and preprocessing pipeline to extract distinct combinations of values against RLS predicate “rule keys” is used. Those distinct values are indexed along with grouped rule keys to enable pushing down predicates at auto-complete time. This enables pushing part of RLS rule handling to ingestion time of a dataset rather than handling all RLS rule handling at query time, enabling meeting of latency goals. In configurations, a single logical document of unique cell values is split into multiple documents with a subset of rule keys to handle scalability limits.

Abstract: Idle periods may be for management actions at processing clusters for managed databases. A leader node of a processing cluster for a managed database may monitor a network endpoint at a proxy service associated with a database managed by the database service. An idle period for the database may be detected. A management action for the processing cluster may be determined to be performed during the detected idle period. The leader node may cause the determined management action to be performed.
