  • Publication number: 20250065528
Abstract: Size-reduction machines and components thereof for producing reduced-size products. Such a size-reduction machine has a case and an impeller that rotates within the case, is surrounded by the case, and has a common axis with the case. A particular feature but optional feature of such a machine is a moveable gate that promotes the ability to produce slices having a very uniform thickness throughout their lengths, from their leading edges to their trailing edges.

  • Patent number: 6911014
Abstract: A continuous flow catheter is disclosed. The catheter includes a proximal portion having first proximal end, a first distal end, and an intake lumen and a return lumen. Each of the intake and return lumens extends between the first proximal end and the first distal end. The catheter also includes a connector portion fixedly connected to the first distal portion, wherein the return lumen terminates at the connector portion. The catheter also includes a distal portion having a second proximal end, a second distal end, and a distal lumen extending between the second proximal end and the second distal end. The second distal end is fixedly connected to the connector portion such that the distal lumen and the intake lumen are in fluid communication with each other.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 14, 2004
Date of Patent: June 28, 2005
    Assignee: Medical Components, Inc.
Inventors: Angela Wentling, Michelle Cochran, Virginia Marlow, William Monroe, Charles Zembillas, Daniel Winter, Claudio Ronco
