  • Publication number: 20170015575
Abstract: A system and a method comprise an upstream chamber is configured to receive a variable input flow of a wastewater mixture having a maximum input flow rate. A downstream chamber is adjacent to the upstream chamber. An effluent baffle wall separates the downstream chamber from the upstream chamber. An effluent flow port is located in the effluent baffle wall. The effluent flow port comprises a first orifice configured to produce a first modulated flow of the wastewater mixture from the upstream chamber to the downstream chamber, and a second orifice being positioned above the first orifice. The second orifice is configured to produce a second modulated flow having a second flow rate, wherein a combined flow rate including the first and second flow rates is less than the maximum input flow rate.

  • Publication number: 20160039695
Abstract: A system and a method comprises a chamber configured to receive a flow of a wastewater mixture from an input. A first baffle wall forms a first channel within the chamber. The wastewater mixture flows from an input to an output of the first channel. A second baffle wall forms a second channel and a third channel within the chamber. The wastewater mixture flows from the output of the first channel to an input of the second channel to an output of the second channel to an input of the third channel to an output of the third channel. The output of the third channel is configured to direct the flow to an output from the first chamber.

  • Patent number: 7936242
Abstract: A magnetically operated electrical switch is presented. The electrical switch includes a linear magnet assembly contained within a housing and movable along an axis of the housing, a rod attached to an end of the linear magnet facing an open end, and means for attaching the housing to a surface. An electrical switch assembly attachable to the open end includes a make/break switch, a switch plunger and an operating lever engaging the plunger where the make/break switch is placed in the first position when an end of the operating lever is contacted by the rod. An electrical wire connection harness includes at least two conductors where the make/break switch closes/opens a connection between one of the conductors. When an operating magnet assembly is positioned on the surface proximate to the switch, the operating magnet moves the linear magnet and a position of the make/break switch is changed.

  • Publication number: 20100017939
Abstract: A levered sealing tab for a glove includes a relatively thin and flexible sheet material including a rectangular shape having a first portion and a second portion. The second portion is folded over the first portion. A first area of the first portion is bonded to a second area of the second portion forming a hinged portion of the second portion. An adhesive, suitable for adhering to the glove, is applied to at least a portion of a surface of the second portion opposite the first portion, for attaching to a first area of the glove, and to at least a portion of a surface of the first portion opposite the hinged portion, for attaching to a second area of the glove adjacent to the first area. A removable cover material for covers the adhesive prior to using the apparatus.
