A force modulating tissue bridge can be a medical article for at least partially covering a wound and/or scar tissue. The medical article can include an elastic arch extending over an area, and a medial strut connected to the arch and extending into the area over which the central section extends.

Abstract: A portable imaging device including a housing comprising a containment portion connected to a gripping portion, a display screen arranged on a proximal end of the containment portion and an image collection port arranged on a distal end of the gripping portion, an input device arranged on or adjacent to the gripping portion, a digital camera arranged in the housing and configured to capture an image of a surface through the image collection port in response to actuation of the input device, and a computing device arranged in the housing and in communication with the digital camera. The computing device is programmed or configured to determine a diameter of an indentation in a surface based on analyzing the image and determine a hardness value based on the diameter. Also, a method of using the portable image device to determine the hardness of a material.

Abstract: A self-levelling continuous coating composition is disclosed. The composition is adapted for application on a surface of flooring material which contains asbestos. The composition encapsulates the hazardous material there in the floor and allows the addition of another layer of flooring to be installed thereover. The composition is comprised of about 40-55 parts by weight of a latex emulsion binder; about 2-7 parts by weight antifreeze; about 38-53 parts by weight hollow ceramic microspheres; and about 6-16 parts by weight water. The resulting composition can be applied in a single step application and does not require mixing of separate ingredients at the workplace.
