  • Publication number: 20150025905
Abstract: A method of monitoring health parameters of subjects within a defined space and over a period of time includes collecting first data corresponding to a physiological parameter of an ambulatory subject, collecting second data corresponding to a behavioral and cognitive parameter of the ambulatory subject, collecting third data corresponding to an identity and a location of the one of the subjects, collecting fourth data corresponding to the one of the ambulatory subjects from third party sources, generating a data record for the one of the ambulatory subjects based upon the first, second, third, and fourth data, and outputting a modified data record, the modified data record containing portions of the data record, the portions selected based upon an access level of a person requesting the data record and a format of the modified data record selected based upon the access level and community needs.

  • Publication number: 20070151655
Abstract: A method of forming a moldable fabric face composite. The fabric is formed in a knit or woven structure using underdrawn POY yarns and laminated to a low permeability plastically deformable backing for introduction to a mold. The underdrawn POY yams impart a stretch characteristics such that the fabric undergoes plastic deformation elongation in all directions upon application of force followed by low recovery after force removal.

  • Publication number: 20070006400
Abstract: Yarns and fabrics formed from such yarns incorporating an arrangement of discrete zones of variable heat treat history thereby imparting differential dye affinity and structural character at discrete zones along the yarn length. The differential dye affinity permits variable shading along the yarn length when the yarn is subjected to a dye bath. Processes and equipment for manufacturing such yarns are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20050113721
Abstract: An integrated subject monitoring system facilitates measurement, collection and analysis of data pertaining to the health status of a subject. The system includes a network-coupled computer and subsystems monitoring subject location within a defined space and the curtilage thereof and obtaining measurements of a subject's physiological or behavioral/cognitive parameters within the defined space. Parameter data is obtained primarily passively, without the cooperation or active participation of the subject. A method of monitoring the physiological and behavioral/cognitive health status of an ambulatory subject involves monitoring in a primarily passive fashion, irrespective of the active collaboration of the subject. Subject health indicia parameters are continuously monitored, sampled and recorded. Captured values are compared to initial baseline values established for each of the measured parameters as well as to the trend for the parameter of that subject.

  • Patent number: 6869801
Abstract: A method of determining premalignant or neoplastic disease state in a tissue sample containing cells of the cervix, the method comprising contacting specific monoclonal antibodies to a cervical tissue sample, determining binding of the antibodies to the sample and comparing the binding with a pattern of binding of the same antibodies to a normal cervical cell sample. Hybridomas which produce suitable antibodies have been deposited at the European Collection of Animal Cell Cultures (ECACC) under the accession numbers ECACC 95020718, 95020716, 95020720, 95020717 and 95020719.

  • Patent number: 6821258
Abstract: An integrated subject monitoring system facilitates measurement, collection and analysis of data pertaining to frequency and intensity of movement by a recumbent subject. The system includes a network-coupled computer and sensors placed in a bed or other resting surface of the subject. Parameter data is obtained primarily passively, without the cooperation or active participation of the subject. Subject parameters can be continuously monitored, sampled and recorded. Captured values then can be compared to initial baseline values for a measured parameter as well as to the trend the parameter of that subject. Readings falling outside the boundaries can trigger a signal to be sent to an appropriate party. The system preferably further includes a location monitoring or tracking subsystem for determining a subject's location within a defined space. Location data from the subsystem can be used to identify the subject being measured by the sensors in the bed.

  • Publication number: 20020197723
Abstract: A method of determining abnormality in a tissue sample containing cells of the cervix the method comprising determining binding of specific binding substances to the sample and comparing the binding with the pattern of binding of said specific binding substances to a normal cervical cell sample. The specific binding substances may be antibodies. Hybridomas which produce suitable antibodies have been deposited at the European Collection of Animal Cell Cultures (ECACC), Centre for Applied Microbiology & Research, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP4 0JG, United Kingdom on Feb. 6, 1995 under the accession numbers ECACC 95020718, 95020716, 95020720, 95020717 and 95020719.
