  • Patent number: 7413595
Abstract: An improved control scheme is set forth for an adsorption process that removes water and carbon dioxide (CO2) from a feed gas using a hybrid of both temperature swing (i.e. TSA) and pressure swing (PSA) to regenerate the adsorbent. The control scheme comprises adjusting the quantity of heat to be provided by the regeneration gas as a function of temperature data taken within a strategic portion of the water selective adsorbent zone. The strategic portion corresponds to the location for the desired transition from regeneration by temperature swing, to regeneration by pressure swing. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, said quantity of regeneration heat is also adjusted as a function of the water content of the feed gas.

  • Patent number: 7128776
Abstract: An improved thermal swing adsorption process is set forth which addresses the problem of water ingress into the adsorbent by periodically heating the adsorbent to a temperature greater than the temperature used in the normal regeneration cycle.

  • Patent number: 7080911
Abstract: A combination mirror mount and headlight glare visor that reduces headlight glare to the driver without changing the mirror height or mounting locations. The combination mirror mount and headlight glare visor maintains the field of vision requirements of FMVSS 111 for school buses and maintains the conventional mounting aspects of previous designs. The shape of the headlight visor portion is designed to substantially cover the headlight as viewed through the cross view mirror during operation of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5919286
Abstract: A process for removing nitrogen oxides, as well as water and carbon dioxide, from gas streams containing at least 0.2 ppm by volume of nitrogen oxides by passing the gas stream through an alumina adsorbent and a zeolite adsorbent, preferably 13X-zeolite. The process has utility in front end cleanup of air prior to cryogenic distillation of the air where nitrogen oxides would otherwise freeze under the cryogenic processing.

  • Patent number: 5690786
Abstract: A process for using ejectors to combine high pressure steam and low pressure oxygen to produce a steam and oxygen enriched gas single phase gas mixture for introduction into various pulp treatments using oxygen with the benefit of low cost compression, low capital requirements and superior oxygen mixing.
