  • Publication number: 20130222087
Abstract: A proximity switch (20, 20A) that snaps quickly and locks between first and second positions of movable electrical contacts (32). A magnet (42) moves a first shaft (26) toward a magnetic target (62) when the target is proximate a sensor end (43) of the switch housing (22). A spring (44) urges the first shaft (26) away from the sensor end. Movement of the first shaft causes a second spring (64) to urge a second shaft (28) in the direction of the first shaft. Next the second shaft is released (52) to move in the direction urged by the second spring. The switch may be adapted to a client cable pin configuration via an adapter plug (80) in the housing with a flexible interconnection circuit (82) folded in a chamber between the adapter plug and leads from fixed electrical contacts (38) of the switch.

  • Publication number: 20090293498
Abstract: An example turbine engine assembly includes a first attachment structure secured to an engine casing or an engine liner. A second attachment structure is secured to the other of the engine casing or the engine liner. The assembly further includes a link having a rod portion extending longitudinally from a hemispherical end portion and terminating at a rod end portion. The hemispherical end portion is received within a recess defined by the first attachment structure. The rod end portion is secured relative to the second attachment structure to limit relative movement between the engine casing and the engine liner.

  • Publication number: 20090234727
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining relevance ratings for keywords associated with content are disclosed. A quantitative degree of relevance of keywords for a piece of content is determined by querying several reviewers. System users have a keyword record listing the keywords associated with content that a user has exhibited a threshold of interest in. Moreover, a cumulative value for the keywords is maintained by adding the degree of relevance of content keywords to the cumulative value of the keyword in the user's record. By finding correspondences between keywords in a user's record and keywords for pieces of content, advertisements, or other people using the system, a user's interest may be determined, and recommendations for content, advertisements, and potential friends or business contacts may be made to the user.
