Patent number: 9853780Abstract: The method is used for detection and/or removal of errors in transmission systems which comprise a transmitter unit and at least one receiver unit. The transmitter unit transmits to the receiver unit on a semi-persistent transmission resource which provides an adjustable frequency range and an adjustable time period. Furthermore, the self-repeating, semi-persistent transmission resource repeating with the period TSPS is rigidly assigned to the receiver unit. Following this, at least one but not all of the HARQ process numbers available for the self-repeating, semi-persistent transmission resource are reserved for the latter.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2012Date of Patent: December 26, 2017Assignee: ROHDE & SCHWARZ GMBH & CO. Publication number: 20070142207Abstract: Isopipes for use in making sheet glass by a fusion process are provided which exhibit reduced sag. The isopipes are composed of a zircon refractory which has a mean creep rate (MCR) at 1180° C. and 250 psi and a 95 percent confidence band (CB) for said mean creep rate such that the CB to MCR ratio is less than 0.5, the MCR and the CB both being determined using a power law model. The zircon refractory can contain titania (TiO2) at a concentration greater than 0.2 wt. % and less than 0.4 wt. %. A concentration of titania in this range causes the zircon refractory to exhibit a lower mean creep rate than zircon refractories previously used to make isopipes. In addition, the variation in mean creep rate is also reduced which reduces the chances that the zircon refractory of a particular isopipe will have an abnormally high creep rate and thus exhibit unacceptable sag prematurely.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 12, 2007Publication date: June 21, 2007Inventors: John Helfinstine, Daniel Liebner, John Martin, Dean Neubauer, William Powell

Publication number: 20060165847Abstract: A nutrition system utilizing multiple food containers that have graduated indicia to indicate quantity of food therein, wherein the indicia are determined by an eater's weight. Preferably the food containers are color-coded to indicate the type of macronutrient inside. The containers fit inside an insulated carrier that is large enough to hold at least four meals' worth of containers. Containers of macronutrients are combined to form meals. Preferably the carrier is collapsible so that it can be made smaller as the meals are eaten throughout the day. In the preferred embodiment, the meals are combined in such a way to cause weight loss. During the first day, a person ingests four high-carbohydrate meals and one low-carbohydrate meal. During a second day, a person ingests four low-carbohydrate meals, each with a tablespoon of a fat, and one high-carbohydrate meal.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2005Publication date: July 27, 2006Inventor: William Powell
