  • Patent number: 9015656
Abstract: A system implementing a method for generating code for execution based on a SIMT model with parallel units of threads is provided. The system identifies a loop within a program that includes vector processing. The system generates instructions for a thread that include an instruction to set a predicate based on whether the thread of a parallel unit corresponds to a vector element. The system also generates instructions to perform the vector processing via scalar operations predicated on the predicate. As a result, the system generates instructions to perform the vector processing but to avoid branch divergence within the parallel unit of threads that would be needed to check whether a thread corresponds to a vector element.

  • Patent number: 8267818
Abstract: Described herein is a sprocket for interfacing with a perforated material, such as a chain. The sprocket includes a hub and a material-interfacing plate. The hub is shaped to fit around an axially extending shaft, and includes a plurality of hub portions each shaped to fit around a portion of the shaft; and a retaining portion and a hub interlocking portion, each disposed on at least one of the hub portions. The material-interfacing plate has a periphery that is shaped to interface with the perforated material, and includes a plurality of plate portions each shaped to fit around a portion of the hub; and a plate interlocking portion shaped to interlock with the hub interlocking portion and disposed on at least one of the plate portions. The material-interfacing plate is in a secured position when the plate interlocking portion and the hub interlocking portion are interlocked with each other.

  • Patent number: 4930937
Abstract: A traveling culvert/tunnel forming structure including upright waler assemblies positioned in transversely spaced relation on each side of said forming structure, the waler assemblies being adapted to receive forms on outside surfaces thereof. Horizontally adjusted header assemblies are supported at opposite ends by the spaced upright waler assemblies. Collapsible braces are disposed between the upright waler assemblies enabling the upright waler assemblies to move towards and away from one another. Multi purpose mounting brackets are mounted in rows on the upright waler assemblies which brackets are positioned inwardly from the waler assemblies. Rows of casters are swivelly mounted on the brackets inside of the rows of upright waler assemblies beneath the header assemblies. A pair of rows of leveling jacks are provided for elevating the forming structure and its casters out-of-contact with a ground supporting surface. The leveling jacks each have an upstanding jack shaft.

  • Patent number: 4867159
Abstract: An improved baby pacifier including a fillable reuseable nipple, a handle, and a cover that locks into place with a tilt, snap and twist motion. The pacifier includes a sealing plug to removably secure the nipple to the main body and seal the nipple filling inside the nipple. The main body of the pacifier includes a mating flange which extends outwardly from the outer surface of the main body about the entire circumference except for a discontinuous portion which forms a gap. The cover includes bosses on its interior surface to matingly engage the mating flange on the main body so as to secure engagement of the cover to the main body and prevent a child from removing it. The pacifier further includes a shield extending from the outer surface of the pacifier and including safety holes to prevent asphyxiation in the event the pacifier is swallowed.
