    Abstract: The invention relates to a method in connection with handoff in a mobile radio communication system comprising at least one mobile station and a set of base stations surrounding the mobile station, each of the base stations including at least one traffic channel. Measured information that is significant for handoff-decisions and that before handoff of the mobile station from a first traffic channel to a second traffic channel has been measured, stored and associated with the first traffic channel, is associated with the second traffic channel in connection with handoff.
