  • Publication number: 20120204884
Abstract: An inflated endotracheal tube cuff maintained at a desired inflation using a constant air source. The constant air flow source is connected to a pressure regulator that is connected to the endotracheal tube cuff via the endotracheal tube cuff lumen. The regulator includes a bleed valve used to control the air pressure to the cuff so that a constant desired air pressure is maintained. The regulator may also include a manometer for visually displaying the pressure in the regulator, and thereby the cuff.

  • Patent number: 5339731
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for printing individual metal body blanks, from which three piece container bodies are formed, in a multi-colored image on an individual body blank basis. Individual body blanks are cut from a sheet and fed in two parallel streams to the rotating impression cylinder of a multi-color off-set litho press. The body blanks are secured to the impression cylinder using mechanical clamps and magnets and are rotated sequentially past a number of inking unit/ultraviolet lamp pairs. As each color ink is applied by an inking unit, it is immediately cured by an adjacent ultraviolet lamp before the body blank is transported to the next inking unit.

  • Patent number: 4639977
Abstract: A rope guard and rope bundle keeper includes an elongate, flexible body having lateral edges extending between two ends. The body has a slit at each end; the slits extend inwardly away from the lateral edges in directions perpendicular to the length of the body. The body is made of a flexible, protective material, such as thick leather. As a rope guard, the body is placed between the tie down rope and the item to be protected in a region where the rope changes direction. The rope lies against the top or outer surface of the rope guard in the region between the two slits but passes through the slits to help maintain the rope guard in place. As a rope bundle keeper, the body is wrapped around the rope bundle so that it circumscribes the bundle. The two slits are inserted one into the other so to maintain the body in a ring-like, rope bundle keeper orientation.
