  • Patent number: 6095463
Abstract: A billiard table leg and foot height adjuster comprising a bottom plate including at least one concentric bearing race and an upstanding peripheral rim, an upstanding boss in the center of the bottom plate, a billiard table support plate resting on the bearing race within the upstanding peripheral rim, an axle having a lower end, and an upper end projecting up through the boss and support plate, a snap ring retainer on the upper end of the axle for securing the support plate, and at least one set screw in the upstanding peripheral rim and projecting above the support plate to engage a billiard table foot. The foot includes a frust-oconical lower portion for rotatable adjustment of the foot by manually gripping and rotating the foot.

  • Patent number: 6007006
Abstract: A food waste disposer comprises an upper food conveying section, a lower motor section, and a central grinding section disposed between the food conveying section and the motor section. The motor section includes a motor imparting rotational movement to a motor shaft. The food conveying section includes a first injection-molded plastic housing that forms an inlet at its upper end for receiving food waste. The food conveying section conveys the food waste to the central grinding section. The grinding section includes a grinding mechanism having a portion mounted to the motor shaft. The grinding mechanism grinds the food waste into particulate matter. The central grinding section includes a second injection-molded plastic housing encompassing the grinding mechanism and integrally formed with the first injection-molded plastic housing. The motor is enclosed within a motor housing having a stamped metal upper end frame.

  • Patent number: 5839966
Abstract: Time consuming, unreliable leveling of the playing surface of a billiard table is eliminated in a billiard table including a base frame (10) adapted to be supported above the underlying terrain by legs. The base frame has an upper top plate (12) of generally rectangular configuration and a slate bed made up of at least two slate sheets (24) with planar upper surfaces (26) disposed in a generally side by side abutting relation overlying the top plate (12). A plurality of nuts (52) are secured to the top plate (12) at predetermined locations thereon and a plurality of leveling screws (62) are provided, one for each nut (52). Each leveling screw includes a threaded shank (62) received in the associated nut (52) in a radially outwardly directed flange (64) at one end of the shank at the interface of the top plate (12) and the slate sheets (24) and engaging one of the slate sheets (24).

  • Patent number: 5249763
Abstract: An adjustable mounting system for mounting an article such as a low profile water distiller in kitchen cabinets or similar spaces of widely varying dimensions. The system includes support arms received in telescoping relationship in channels located on the article, which are affixed at their ends, that may be angled downwardly, to a horizontal cross member that is mountable on a rear mounting bracket. The mounting bracket has a plurality of vertically displaced notches for receiving and supporting the horizontal member. Alternatively, the bracket may be provided with an indentation at the top of each flange of the bracket. In this embodiment vertical adjustment is by means of holes in the arms at different vertical displacements. The distiller is provided with a horizontal channel adapted to telescopingly receive the arms. A forward bracket is provided to adjustably support the forward end.
