    Abstract: Disclosed is a programmatic use of targeted forces to reduce non-realistic effects in simulating clothing on a body. These forces are applied adaptively to instances of clothing-body and clothing-clothing interaction to compensate for behavior of the simulation system that produces effects that do not reflect the actual look of a person wearing that article of clothing.
