Abstract: A pancake making device with a pair of opposed platens that include cooperating wells for making pancakes is provided. The wells of the lower platen receive a quantity of pancake batter. The platens are then closed and rolled over so that the batter spreads across the well of the engaged well. Rolling over the platens engages a control system that heats the platens such that the batter rises to fill both of the engaged wells, and thereby cooks and forms a cooked pancake. When the cooking is complete, the control system sounds a beeper that signals the user to roll the platens over to the starting position, so that the platens can be opened and the pancake removed.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for a waffle sandwich press is described. A waffle sandwich press includes a pair of sandwich warming plates hingedly coupled together, wherein each sandwich warming plate includes a waffle mold, the waffle mold having a grid pattern including a set of ridges, each ridge in the set of ridges extending from a floor of each of the waffle molds, wherein the ridges interlock with a waffle having a waffle height, and the floor of each of the waffle molds is inset into one of the pair of sandwich warming plates a depth equal to at least 60% of the waffle height, and wherein a perimeter of the waffle mold formed in the first sandwich warming plate contacts a perimeter of the waffle mold formed in the second sandwich warming plate when the pair of sandwich warming plates are hinged closed.

Abstract: A waffle baker includes a stationary stand which mounts a clam shell style baker assembly such that the baker assembly can be freely rotated relative to the stand. The baker assembly includes an upper and a lower shell, within each of which is mounted a stainless steel bowl which acts as a heat reflecting shield to reflect heat toward a respective light weight, quick heating griddle. A series of tabs are positioned on and extend upward from each of the reflective bowls with the tabs on each bowl supporting a respective heating cal rod in position above the floor of that bowl. The lower shell reflecting bowl includes a central opening which is surrounded by an upstanding perimeter wall to receive a bi-metal temperature sensing switch and isolate it from the cal rods and from heat reflected by the bowl.

Abstract: A keepsake album has a frame assembly imbedded in its padded front cover for displaying a personalizing photograph in recessed relation to the outer-surface of the cover. A photograph-receiving tray which forms a part of the frame assembly is disposed within a complementally configured blind opening in the cover and is solidly undersupported by the exposed rigid backing member of the cover along the bottom of the blind opening. The tray is adapted to releasably retain a decorative frame in abutment with the outer surface of the cover for holding the desired photograph in a displayed position on the cover.
