  • Patent number: 12206876
Abstract: Encoding a digital video using a Single Instruction Multiple Data (SIMD) operation. Advantageously, digital video may be encoded in a manner that conserves computational resources. A software encoder searches a decision tree in a random forest in furtherance of encoding of the digital video by causing a physical hardware component to perform a single operation on multiple data operands concurrently. The single operation may be a comparison of two or more thresholds of a single feature of a single frame, or a portion thereof, of the digital video. The decision tree may be arranged to position comparisons involving a single feature near the root of the decision tree.

  • Patent number: 12088631
Abstract: The present disclosure describes event detection and management for quantum communications in a communication network. The event detection and management for quantum communications in a communication network may be provided based on event-based interaction between quantum nodes of the communication network and a network controller of the communication network, such as where the quantum nodes detect events associated with quantum communications and report the events associated with quantum communications to the network controller and where the network controller receives the events associated with quantum communications from the quantum nodes and initiates event management operations based on the events associated with quantum communications.

  • Publication number: 20230177315
Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for using deep learning models to obfuscate and optimize communications. A request can be received in a first language, from a user device, and at a first computing device storing a first neural network. The request can be translated using the first neural network into a modified request in a custom language. The modified request can be sent to a second computing device hosting an application. The first computing device can receive a modified response that is in the custom language, where the modified response can be created at the second computing device using the second neural network and based on a response from the application. The modified response can be translated into a response in the first language and sent to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20210271591
Abstract: Mock test data is generated by providing a random input to a generator model. The random input is transformed into generated data that is then provided to a discriminator model along with production data. The discriminator model classifies the generated data and the production data as either fake or real. The discriminator model is trained by updating weights through backpropagation. Similarly, the generator model is trained to provide adjusted generated data. When the discriminator model is unable to distinguish between the classified real data and the adjusted generated data, the generator model is used to generate mock data for an application being tested.

  • Patent number: 8621085
Abstract: Methods for managing, and utilizing connections between an application server and an enterprise information system (EIS) based on a Daytona architecture are provided. The methods may include operating a resource adapter conforming to the JCA standard, and interfacing with and being managed by the application server. The resource adapter may be configured to provide a connection to the EIS and to submit a query request to and receive query results from the EIS, including receiving the query request from a client; instructing the EIS to open a query, compile the query, execute the query, and return the results of the execution of the query; receiving the results of the execution of the query from the EIS; instructing the EIS to terminate the connection; and returning the results of the execution of the query to the client. Related systems and computer program products are also provided.

  • Patent number: 7450701
Abstract: An advanced intelligent network (AIN) based system and method that allows a subscriber connected to the Internet to receive customized call alerts and caller identification information concerning an incoming telephone call. Using client software, the subscriber associates telephone numbers to sound files. Then, when an incoming call with caller identification information is received, the client software determines whether the incoming telephone number points to a sound file. If so, the client software directs the sound file to play.
