  • Patent number: 4449842
Abstract: The sleeve bracket includes three attached sleeves, each sleeve having open ends for receiving and connecting similar frame members. Each sleeve is oriented in a direction which is perpendicular to the other two. The sleeves of the sleeve bracket intersect at right angles and define continuous unobstructed conduits to allow a frame member to be affixed within a sleeve at any point along the length of the frame member. Depending upon the positioning of frame members within the three sleeves, and the orientation and number of sleeve brackets employed, a number of sturdy, easily assembled, simply designed structures can be erected.
