    Abstract: Provided are devices for assessing the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in a biological sample, the devices comprising a substrate comprising a top surface and a back surface; and, an electrode on the top surface of the substrate, wherein the electrode is functionalized with a detection moiety that binds SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. Also disclosed are articles that include such devices, and methods for assessing the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in a biological sample using the disclosed devices. The present disclosure also provides devices for assessing the presence of herpes simplex virus (HSV) in a biological sample comprising a substrate that includes a top surface and a back surface; and, an electrode on the top surface of the substrate, wherein the electrode is functionalized with a detection moiety that binds HSV glycoprotein gD2, such as nectin-1. Also disclosed are articles that include such devices, and methods for assessing the presence of HSV in a biological sample using the disclosed devices.

The elongated body is formed first and second side walls extending from an integrally formed edge wall. A support member is disposed along at least one of the opposing ends, and an actuation member is also disposed along at least one of the opposing ends. A method of forming the gate bar from a sheet of metal is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A die assembly for use on a press and adapted to form a plurality of features on a strip of material. The die assembly includes a first die section and a second die section. The first die section is supported on the press and has a first tooling surface for forming a first feature. The second section is moveably supported on the press relative to the first section and has second and third tooling surfaces. The second tooling surface engages the first feature and locates the second die section relative thereto. The third tooling surface is for forming a second feature. A method is also disclosed.
