  • Patent number: 12268794
Abstract: A system for decontamination of patient care equipment and a system for decontamination of an interior space. In some embodiments, a decontaminant distributor is provided in an enclosure and coupled to a decontaminant generator system. The decontaminant generator system may include a decontaminant generator removably coupled to the decontaminant distributor at an exterior of the enclosure for allowing the decontaminant generator to be removed and connected to another decontaminant distributor associated with another system for decontamination of patient care equipment. An air agitation system may be provided in the enclosure for agitating air and decontaminant in the enclosure. In some embodiments, a portable system may be transported to an interior space for decontaminating the items in the space using hot-air decontamination.

  • Publication number: 20220370665
Abstract: The present disclosure provides decontamination system that includes a decontamination chamber for sealably holding one or more items for decontamination. The system also includes a decontamination unit comprising: a controllable air heater and humidity control unit to controllably heat an ambient air source and to control a temperature and humidity of air within a decontamination chamber; a controllable vaporizer unit to controllably vaporize one or more decontamination agents by combining the controllably heated ambient air with the one or more decontamination agents; and controller circuitry to control a controllable air heater and humidity control unit to heat the ambient air to a selected level, and to maintain a selected heat and humidity within the decontamination chamber, and to control the controllable vaporizer unit to provide a selected flow rate of the one or more decontamination agents into the decontamination chamber.

  • Patent number: 10064711
Abstract: A toothbrush system includes a toothbrush having a floss pick with position sensors. The position sensors can be used to create a digital representation of the user's mouth and by monitoring the movement of the toothbrush while in use, the system can determine if all surface areas of the teeth have been properly brushed based upon the measured brush time and force. The system can determine if the teeth have been properly flossed based upon the measured floss time and position. If any areas of the teeth have not been properly brushed or flossed, the system can emit a signal informing the user of the areas that need additional brushing or flossing.

  • Publication number: 20130037586
Abstract: A suspended cup holder comprising a support ring hanging from a plurality of elastic ring suspenders, and a basket suspended from the support ring by a plurality of elastic basket suspenders. The bottom of each ring suspender is attached to the ring, and the top of each ring suspender is attached to a support bracket. The support bracket is configured to attach the cup holder to a bicycle or hand cart. The elastic ring suspenders are any elastic member configured to support the support ring under the load of the beverage container. The support ring is a rigid or semi-rigid ring providing annular suspension support to the basket. The elastic basket suspenders are disposed circumferentially around the support ring and around the top of the basket. The basket is cylindrical in shape, the top being open to removably receive the beverage container, and the bottom having a base to provide vertical support to the beverage container.

  • Publication number: 20050205631
Abstract: A system for stabilizing articles is provided. The system is particularly well-suited for stabilizing plastic grocery bags during transport in a vehicle. The system comprises a stabilizing element that, when in use, extends from a first point to a second point and passes through the handles of a bag to be stabilized. Preferably, the first and second points are fixed, either detachably or semi-permanently, on the sidewalls in the interior of a vehicle. Further, the stabilizing element preferably is flexible. In addition, the stabilizing element preferably can be disconnected from the second point and also preferably, the stabilizing element can recoil into a location at the first point so that only a portion of the stabilizing element is visible. Other preferred embodiments of the present invention, including those with intermediary fixtures or intermediary support features, as well as those with multiple stabilizing elements, also are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5400733
Abstract: A launching ramp for boats, float planes and the like has several ramp segments that are in normal use of the ramp, generally aligned and sloping downwardly into a body of water. To enable the easy removal of the ramp from the body of water, the ramp segments are hinged and equipped with stops so that when a cable is connected to the outermost end of the ramp, pulling in on the cable will pivot the outermost end segment upwardly until the stops limit this pivotal movement with respect to the next segment, whereupon the second segment will pivot upwardly to its stop position and so on. As the cable is drawn in, the ramp is rolled up towards the shore. The installation of the ramp is a reverse process of unrolling the ramp into the water. With appropriate modification the ramp may be used as a roll-up dock.
