  • Publication number: 20250148462
Abstract: An extensible policy-based service layer dynamic authorization framework can allow a service layer to determine whether or not to grant or deny a registrant access to a resource or service hosted by the service layer for which the registrant currently lacks the proper privileges to access. This method can also enable a service layer to dynamically update its statically configured authorization privileges (by leveraging its dynamic authorization results) such that future requests from the same registrant and to the same resource and service do not require dynamic authorization to be performed.

  • Publication number: 20250134458
Abstract: An assistive medical device includes a brace configured to fit around an anatomical joint of a user. One or more sensors, such as an inertial measurement unit and an angle sensor, determine pose (e.g., position and/or orientation) of the brace. A controller receives data from the sensors and compares the data from the sensors to a pose of the anatomical joint that is either measured (e.g., via separate limb pose sensors) or assumed (e.g., by instructing the user to assume a specific pose). Based on the comparison, an indication of the alignment status between the brace and the limb is determined to guide an alignment verification process.

  • Patent number: 12267989
Abstract: A controller reduces power output of an inverter of an electric drive system while a sensed temperature associated with the inverter, a sensed current output of the inverter, and parameter values of a busbar of the inverter are indicative of a predicted temperature of the busbar being greater than a threshold to maintain busbar temperature lower than the threshold. The current output of the inverter may be outputted over the busbar. The parameter values are obtainable from a thermal model of the busbar. The thermal model may be derived from testing a test version of the inverter under different drive cycles in which for each a set of information is recorded including a sensed temperature of the test inverter, a sensed current output of the test inverter, and a sensed temperature of the busbar of the test inverter.

Abstract: A method that includes receiving a first request for a data object associated with a communication process flow that controls electronic communications between a tenant and a set of users corresponding to the tenant. The first request may include a set of querying parameters and a set of triggering parameters. The method may further include querying, based on the set of querying parameters, a communication process flow management service for data associated with the communication process flow. The method may further include generating, based on the querying, the data object that includes the data associated with the communication process flow. The method may further include transmitting, to a communication platform in accordance with the set of triggering parameters, a second request that comprises the data object. The second request may cause posting of an entry of the data object into a communication channel of the communication platform.

  • Patent number: 12253892
Abstract: Package lids with carveouts configured for processor connection and alignment are described. Lid carveouts are configured to align and mechanically secure a cooling device to the package lid by receiving protrusions of the cooling device. Because the lid carveouts ensure precise alignment and orientation of a cooling device relative to a package lid, the lid design enables targeted cooling of discrete portions of the lid. Lid carveouts are further configured to expose one or more connectors disposed on a surface that supports package internal components. When contacted by corresponding connectors of a cooling device, the lid carveouts enable direct connections between the package and the attached cooling device. By creating a direct connection between package components and an attached cooling device, the lid carveouts enable a high-speed connection for proactive and on-demand cooling actuation.
