Publication number: 20200411912Abstract: A battery pack is provided with an improved interface through the use of an endcap which forms a top surface of a battery pack housing. The endcap includes a walled aperture for a connector. The connector along with electronic circuitry is disposed on a printed circuit board located beneath the endcap. A dam of UV glue surrounds a perimeter of the connector preventing the potting compound from intruding into contacts. An endcap perimeter rim of UV glue seals the endcap to the housing. The endcap further includes an injection port and flow directors for guiding a potting compound into the endcap to form a water tight seal.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 28, 2019Publication date: December 31, 2020Inventors: JODY H. Patent number: 10818994Abstract: A microwave guide suitable for carrying microwaves between an object that is vibrating that is connected to a first end of the guide and an object connected to the other end of the guide that is to be protected from transmitted vibrations, the guide providing a restricted path for the transmission of vibrations. In one embodiment, the guide has a flexible mesh part having an inner surface which has high electric conductivity and is provided with a plurality openings. The openings may be sufficiently small such that microwave radiation is unable to pass through the opening. The guide may also include a support structure which extends along the length of the guide. The support structure may have a low dielectric loss tangent and may be sufficiently rigid to provide support to the mesh part.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2014Date of Patent: October 27, 2020Inventors: William Robertson Cunningham Erskine, Kristian Terah Gough, Andy Terah Gough, David Wilson, Nathan Erskine
