Abstract: A computer system and method for estimating patient-size-adjusted dose delivered by a radiological scanning system include receiving a plurality of radiological images of a body and one or more values associated with a CT (computer tomographic) scan performed by the radiological scanning system to acquire the radiological images. A size and volume of the body are estimated based on the plurality of radiological images associated with the CT scan. An estimated dose delivery value is calculated based on the estimated size and volume of the body and on the one or more values associated with the CT scan.
