  • Patent number: 10953300
Abstract: A horse riding training aid is provided. The horse riding training aid includes a dummy horse and actuator means for controlling the fore and aft position of the dummy horse. The horse riding training aid further includes one or more guide and/or control components for generally restricting movements of the dummy horse in certain directions. Actuators are also provide in a form of one or more of fluid operated rams, hydraulic rams and electric motors.

  • Patent number: 7749088
Abstract: The present invention relates to a simulator for simulating the movement of a horse comprising: a base; a body portion for receipt of a rider and having a longitudinal axis corresponding to the simulated forward and backward movement of a horse; a first linkage extending between said body portion and said base; a second linkage extending between said body portion; and a mechanism capable of providing vertical and horizontal movement to the longitudinal axis of the body portion. The present invention also relates to a kit of parts for producing the simulator. The simulator is particularly useful as a training aid for people to ride horses, in addition to improving stamina and general fitness.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6866594
Abstract: A polo training apparatus comprises a dummy horse and conveyor belts arranged one each side of the dummy horse. A ball located on one of the conveyor belts will be displaced relative to the dummy horse, thereby simulating the movement of the horse relative to the ground and the ball. The dummy horse may also be movable to simulate the movement of a horse and the speed of movement of the dummy horse may be linked to the speed of the conveyor belts to simulate the riding of a horse more closely.
