  • Patent number: 8006894
Abstract: An election system is disclosed that is immune to rigging, costs only 5 to 20 percent of that of prior art e-voting systems, and entirely eliminates wasted voter time spent standing in line. The method used in the new system is to print each separate office or proposition on a separate playing-card size card adapted to be inserted in a separate ballot box while by means of an odometer the official reception of the voter's vote is shown to the voter by the odometer display.

  • Publication number: 20050127179
Abstract: In any election where the margin of victory is smaller than the margin of error of the voting equipment, chaos ensues, as it did in the Florida election of the year 2000. To avoid a repetition of that debacle the applicant herewith submits a disclosure of an improved voting device. For such an improvement to have the greatest impact, it is necessary to start with the voting device that already has the lowest error rate. That is the original “Votomatic,” which has an error rate of 1.2%. The specification of the accompanying patent application will explain in detail how the two shortcomings of the Votomatic are eliminated in the new device, which is called the “VoteSure.
