Abstract: Embodiments that relate to displaying a computer generated image to a viewer via a stereoscopic display system are disclosed. One disclosed embodiment comprises establishing a predetermined threshold distance from an eye of a viewer to a threshold displayed position of a computer generated image. The method includes determining that a vergence distance from the eye of the viewer to a current displayed position of the image is at or below the predetermined threshold distance. Based on the vergence distance being at or below the predetermined threshold distance, a size of the image is increased while maintaining the vergence distance at the predetermined threshold distance as the eye of the viewer moves toward the image.

Abstract: A head mounted display (HMD) may comprise an adjustable crown band, a crown band circumference adjusting mechanism coupled to the adjustable crown band and configured to adjust a crown band circumference to releasably secure the crown band to the user's crown, an armature including left and right arms, each of the left and right arms mounted at a respective proximal end to corresponding left and right HMD attachment structures, a display mounted at left and right sides to respective distal ends of the left and right arms, and an eye relief distance adjustment mechanism configured to move the left and right arms in a timed manner toward and away from the crown band along a substantially linear path, to thereby adjust an eye relief distance from the display to an eye of a the user when the crown band is fitted on the crown of the user.

Abstract: A trashcan assembly can include a body portion, a lid portion pivotably coupled with the body portion, and a sensor assembly configured to generate a signal when an object is detected within a sensing region. The sensor assembly can include a plurality of transmitters having a first subset of transmitters and a second subset of transmitters. A transmission axis of least one transmitter in the first subset of transmitters can be different from a transmission axis of at least one of the transmitters in the second subset of transmitters. An electronic processor can generate an electronic signal to a power-operated drive mechanism for moving the lid portion from a closed position to an open position when the sensor assembly detects the object within the sensing region.

Abstract: The system provides a removable sun screen that can provide shade and/or UV protection for strollers, car seats, and other carriers for infants and toddlers. The device has adjustable fastening means that allow it to be used with a plurality of carriers. The device includes at least four deformable and semi-rigid fastening mechanisms that are pivotally mounted to a screen member. The pivotal mounting allows the fastening mechanisms to be repositioned as desired, allowing the device to have more universal application to a multiple of carriers. The device includes two top straps that are also bendable and can be pivoted to aid in affixing the screen member to a carrier.

Abstract: An air cleaning apparatus for deodorising or cleaning of air containing noxious or toxic odours is disclosed. The apparatus includes a controller that is a PLC, an air pump, a solenoid, a manifold, a pressure gauge, an air supply line and air supply lines in fluid communication with the manifold. It also includes a first tank that contains a deodorising solution, a second tank contains a detoxifying solution and the third tank contains an oxidising/disinfecting solution. These are the components that are delivered into the air to deodorise and/or clean the air. The apparatus further includes outlet conduits or lines which are in fluid communication with in line filters which as shown are in fluid communication with solenoids. The apparatus further includes supply flow conduits which are in flow communication with an evaporation assembly where a phase change of said decontamination solution occurs to convert it into an activated molecular species.

Abstract: A process for producing an olefin polymer in a slurry polymerisation process is disclosed, in which the process is operating at a temperature of 90° C. to 107° C. and utilising a chromium catalyst having an activity of at least 1,000 g polymer/g catalyst/hour on a support having a pore volume of at least 1.3 cm3/g, comprising adding to the polymerisation mixture from 0.1 to 100 ppm by weight of an anti-static agent, wherein the resulting polymer has a particle size distribution such that less than 8 vol %, preferably less than 5 Vol % of the polymer particles have an average diameter of 125 ?m or less.

Abstract: A system and method for collecting control rod position data in a nuclear reactor includes a position data multiplexer module coupled to a plurality of first position sensors associated with a first control rod and a plurality of second position sensors associated with a second control rod, the multiplexer module configured for multiplexing first control rod position data and second control rod position data into a first multiplexed position signal, and transmitting the first multiplexed position signal over a bus communication facility in parallel with a second multiplexed position signal having third control rod position data from a third control rod.

When a payment is received from a seller and an adjustment is required, an adjustment management application retrieves the buyer's set of business rules from the seller. The set of business rules are then applied to attempt to match the received payment to one of the buyer's outstanding invoices. If the match is successful, the buyer's payment is processed.

Abstract: Processes and apparatuses (10) for commercial and home-use cleaning of textile. Home-use embodiments replace the home laundry clothes dryer, except for embodiments using a novel manual kit (K). Soiled/stained textile (12, 14) sprayed dampened with solvent, preferably automatically in the dryer apparatus' rotatable drum (16); but the textile therein is not soaked nor immersed in solvent. Highly absorbent, untreated pad material (3, 56) is placed into the drum, for rubbing against the tumbling textile (12, 14), to remove the soil, stains and solvent, as well as provide wrinkle deterring hydration. Also, for home-use washer and washer-dryer combined units, the pad material (3, 56) can be placed into the drum (16) prior to the washing cycle, to enhance the scrubbing action.

Abstract: A system and method for automated incoming payment and invoice reconciliation is provided. A buyer of goods sends a remittance to the seller's financial institution. The buyer's remittances is processed to generate payment data which is supplied to a payment matching application. The payment matching application retrieves buyer information from said payment data and queries the seller for all outstanding invoices of said buyer. The payment matching application then attempts to match the received payment to one or more of the buyer's outstanding invoices. If a match is found, the payment is processed and the seller's financial institution and accounting system are automatically updated. If no match is found, the payment is flagged for further processing.

Abstract: A system and method for seller-assisted automated payment and adjustment processing is provided. A seller receives a payment from a buyer that does not match the seller's invoice and consequently requires an adjustment. An adjustment document creator receives the payment data from the buyer and retrieves buyer-specific order data from said seller to construct an adjustment document. A variety of adjustment documents may be created depending upon the actual adjustment required. The adjustment document may then be automatically routed to a set of one or more buyer-specific human reviewers for approval of the adjustment. The automated payment and adjustment processing system is preferably integrated with the seller's financial institution.

Abstract: The barrel carrier consists of upper and lower lip or rim engaging jaws formed on upper and lower support bars respectively. The two bars are telescopically connected together and can be detachably clamped in the desired position so that the jaws engage over the upper and lower rims of the barrel. The clamp bolts terminate in relatively large handles to facilitate the lifting of the barrel when the carrier is engaged thereon.
