  • Patent number: 4363463
Abstract: An assembly of a seal unit and a plunger-like member movable relative to the seal unit, the seal unit comprising a washer-like resilient seal member having an opening therethrough and press-fittingly receiving the plunger therethrough in such a manner that an inner peripheral portion of the washer-like seal member is turned into substantially parallel sealing and wiping engagement with the plunger while being substantially transverse to the remainder of washer-like seal member.

  • Patent number: 4174564
Abstract: A pneumatic indicator device having a housing carrying a movable flag that in one position thereof visually indicates one pneumatic condition of the device and in another position thereof visually indicates another pneumatic condition of the device, the housing also carrying an electrical switch which is operatively associated with the movable flag so that the switch electrically indicates the positions of the flag for remote indication purposes.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 12, 1978
Date of Patent: November 20, 1979
    Assignee: Robertshaw Controls Company
Inventors: William T. Moon, Jr., Arden D. Rogers, Clifford E. Goff, Harry B. Bannon
  • Patent number: 4116155
Abstract: An indicator construction having a housing carrying a movable flag member and a movable plunger operatively associated with the flag member to cause movement thereof upon movement of the plunger, a spring member being operatively interconnected to the plunger and operatively interconnected to the movable flag member to cause movement thereof upon movement of the plunger.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4017054
Abstract: A condition responsive valve construction having a housing provided with an inlet and an outlet leading to and from a chamber therein. A self-contained valve seat and movable valve member unit is removably disposed in the chamber to control the interconnection between the inlet and the outlet. Condition responsive means are carried by the housing for controlling movement of the valve member relative to the valve seat in relation to the condition sensed by the condition responsive means. The self-contained unit is either a direct acting unit or a reverse acting unit while still being adapted to be operated by the same condition responsive means whereby the condition responsive valve construction can be either direct acting or reverse acting, depending upon the self-contained unit removably disposed in the chamber thereof.
