Abstract: A display container includes (a) an enclosure having a body portion defining an interior chamber of the enclosure and a lid portion mounted to the body portion and having one or more openings for providing a flow path between the interior chamber and an external environment, and (b) a valve assembly mounted to the lid portion and including a sealing member adjacent the one or more openings and movable between a closed position blocking the flow path to inhibit fluid communication between the interior chamber and the external environment through the one or more openings, and an open position in which the flow path is unblocked to provide fluid communication between the interior chamber and the external environment through the one or more openings. A compression spring biases the sealing member toward the closed position and accommodates movement of the sealing member toward the open position.

Abstract: A display assembly for secure display of articles includes: (a) a display stand including a base securable to a secure support surface and a platform detachably mounted to and concealing the base; (b) at least one display container supported atop and fastened to the platform, at least a portion of the display container being generally transparent for viewing one or more articles containable therein for display; and (c) a locking mechanism integrated with the display stand, the locking mechanism operable to securely lock the platform to the base to prevent detachment of the platform from the base and unlock the platform from the base to permit detachment of the platform from the base.

Abstract: A display container includes an enclosure having a container body and a lid mounted to the container body for enclosing an interior chamber of the enclosure. The lid has an integrated lens positioned over the interior chamber and a plurality of ports extending through the lid adjacent the lens. The display container further includes a slide valve assembly for selectively opening and closing the ports. The slide valve assembly includes a track fixed relative to the lid in alignment with the ports, and a slide plate slidably received in the track. The slide plate is slidable back and forth along the track between a first position in which the slide plate blocks the ports and a second position in which the ports are unblocked.

Abstract: A display system for securing display containers includes (a) a worksurface having an aperture passing therethrough; and (b) a display insert detachably mountable in the aperture. The display insert includes: (i) a panel for covering the aperture, the panel having at least one tether port extending therethrough; (ii) a tether system mounted under the panel and including a plurality of retractable tethers extendable through the at least one tether port for attachment to respective display containers positionable atop the panel; and (iii) a locking mechanism for selectively locking and unlocking the panel to and from the worksurface.

Abstract: An illuminable display assembly including (a) a housing having a base securable to a support surface, a platform detachably mounted to the base, and a generally enclosed interior bounded from above by the platform. The platform includes a plurality of illuminable windows spaced apart from each other therealong. The display assembly further includes (b) a plurality of retractable tethers mounted to the platform in the interior of the housing. The tethers fasten corresponding display containers to the platform and urge the display containers to predetermined positions adjacent corresponding windows. The display assembly further includes (c) a lighting system including one or more interior light sources in the interior of the housing for illuminating the windows and display containers from below.
