  • Publication number: 20230272979
Abstract: A unit and system are operable with cooling fluid for handling effluent produced in a cleaning process of refinery equipment. A drum of the unit has an inlet for the effluent, a liquid outlet for condensed effluent, and a vapor outlet for uncondensed effluent. A shell disposed in an interior of the drum and has a passage communicating outside the drum. A heat exchanger is disposed in the passage of the shell. As the effluent from the inlet enters the shell’s passage at the distal end of the shell, the heat exchanger cools the effluent using cooling fluid cycled through the heat exchanger. Condensed effluent escaping from the shell can fill the drum’s interior up to a liquid level. Uncondensed effluent escaping from the shell can collect in the open space of the drum, being subject to further condensation.

  • Publication number: 20230272899
Abstract: A vehicular illumination system structured as an array of optical trains in each of which the element of a light-concentrating optical sub-system and the element of the projection optical sub-system are uniquely spatially mapped one into another to ensure that light from a given optical source of the employed arrays of optical sources necessarily interacts both with a dedicated, spatially-distinct light concentrator of the corresponding optical train and with a dedicated, spatially-distinct projection optical component while not interacting with either the light concentrator or the projection optical component of the neighboring optical train. Embodiments ensure freedom of change of the overall shape of the system while, in operation, forming light distribution in pre-determined illumination plane that is substantially devoid of visually-perceived color aberrations.

  • Publication number: 20230270854
Abstract: Provided herein are modified antibodies, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, as well as nucleic acids, and methods for making and discovering the same. The modified antibodies described herein are modified with a peptide. The peptide binds at or near the antigen binding site of the antibody at physiological pH, thus reducing binding affinity of the antibody for a target antigen. At acidic pH, the binding interaction of the peptide at or near the antigen binding site is disrupted, thus enabling binding with a target antigen.

  • Publication number: 20230270095
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to an environmental control system including a fluid driver configured to releasably couple to a buoyant module. In an illustrative example, in a deployment mode, the fluid driver may be brought into register with and releasably coupled to the buoyant module. The fluid driver, for example, be supported by the buoyant module in a body of water. A control unit may, for example, selectively provide energy to the fluid driver such that the fluid driver induces fluid to flow from the body of fluid to a reservoir by a conduit. The control unit may be configured to mechanically support the fluid driver in a stowage mode. Various embodiments may advantageously allow a user to selectively deploy a livewell environment control from a stowed mode into a deployed mode.

  • Publication number: 20230273793
Abstract: An execution unit circuit for use in a processor core provides efficient use of area and energy by reducing the per-entry storage requirement of a load-store unit issue queue. The execution unit circuit includes a recirculation queue that stores the effective address of the load and store operations and the values to be stored by the store operations. A queue control logic controls the recirculation queue and issue queue so that that after the effective address of a load or store operation has been computed, the effective address of the load operation or the store operation is written to the recirculation queue and the operation is removed from the issue queue, so that address operands and other values that were in the issue queue entry no longer require storage. When a load or store operation is rejected by the cache unit, it is subsequently reissued from the recirculation queue.
