A user of a client electronic device is enabled to access one or more media data files chosen from the plurality of media data files. The user of the client electronic device is enabled to manage one or more subscription accounts associated with the media distribution system.

Abstract: A system, method, and ink for printing a data carrying mark on a green ceramic honeycomb structure is provided. The system includes a printer having an ink jet print head that prints a mark, preferably in the form of a two-dimensional data matrix barcode, on a side wall of the green ceramic honeycomb structure. The ink may be a heat resistant ink that comprises a mixture of a glass or glass ceramic frit and a metal oxide colorant. An optical reader is provided for determining if the data is accurately reproduced in the printed mark, as well as any noise factor which may be present due to defective printing. The system includes a turntable that positions the green body for the printing operation, and then rotates the green body to position the printed mark first in front of a dryer, and then in front of the optical reader to determine the quality of the mark. Marked green and ceramic honeycombs are also provided as well as a method for repairing a defective applied bar code on a honeycomb structure.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods, apparatus and computer instructions for a container managed persistent support architecture that meets the Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) Specification. The support architecture provides application programmers a model for balancing generated components with runtime code to better optimize flexibility and efficiency of applications. Six generated components: concrete bean, bean adaptor binding, injector, extractor, data cache entry and function set, are used in combination with runtime code to perform typical operations of CMP entity beans.

Abstract: An air-cooled turbine blade is provided having an airfoil shape defined by a convex suction side wall, a concave pressure side wall, a leading edge, a trailing edge, a root and a tip, the walls and the tip each including an interior surface that defines an interior with the root, the trailing edge including a plurality of slots formed thereon. The blade includes a suction side flow circuit formed therein comprising a forward and an aft flow circuit. The blade also includes a tip flow circuit extending along the tip interior surface to at least one of the trailing edge slots and including a first and a second opening, the first opening in flow communication with the suction side forward flow circuit outlet, and the second opening in flow communication with a cross-over hole of the suction side aft flow circuit. Methods of manufacturing the blade are also provided.

Activation of the URL by an end user causes the stream to be served to the end user, without the client receiving or providing an indication of the specifics of where the content was stored. An embodiment of the present invention provides a system and method that defines one or more remote sites associated with each client.

The clip assembly may also be used with wall panel systems. The clip assembly includes a first clip member and a second clip member each having an upright member and an upper flange member and a lower flange member extending therefrom. The assembly further includes a gap formed between the upright member of the first clip member and the upright member of the second clip member. In one aspect the clip assembly includes a base which allows the assembly to slide.

Abstract: A circuit and method efficiently powers a static storage element during a low voltage mode of operation. The static storage element is powered at a first voltage level in an active mode of the static storage element. The static storage element is powered in a low power mode using alternating first and second phases. Powering the static storage element during the first phases in the low power mode includes powering the static storage element at or below a second voltage level, wherein powering the static storage element during the second phases in the low power mode includes powering the static storage element at a higher voltage level than the second voltage level. In another form two modes of low power operation are used where a first mode uses a less power efficient operation than the second mode, but both are more power efficient than a normal power mode.

The method includes storing image attributes associated with a plurality of images captured by the camera. Camera settings associated with the captured images are also stored. At least one of a plurality of photography pointers is provided based on the stored image attributes and the stored camera settings.

Abstract: A fluid cylinder for high temperature applications is disclosed. The fluid cylinder includes an extensible member that moves between a retracted position and an extended position by forcing a fluid, such as a pneumatic fluid or a hydraulic fluid, into the cylinder. In order to seal the extensible member against an internal surface of the cylindrical housing, the extensible member includes a sealing member defining a plurality of grooves. A corresponding plurality of metallic sealing rings are placed in each of the grooves. The sealing rings include a gap that allow for thermal expansion. The sealing rings are positioned in the grooves so that the gaps on the rings are in a staggered arrangement in the axial direction. Further, a metal alloy coating may be applied to at least certain parts of the fluid cylinder. Through the above configuration, the fluid cylinder can be made without any polymeric sealing rings, composite bearings, or lubricants that may degrade during high temperature applications.

Abstract: System and method that include real time monitoring of the position and movement of the head in relation to a visual stimulator during videonystagmography (VNG) or electronystagmography (ENG) studies to a patient. Ultrasound sensors and transmitters combined with accelerometers or detectors of gravity are used, or other as necessary. The sensors signals are processed by a software that monitors position, facilitating the operator task and making a quality control of the diagnosis maneuvers providing a reproducible test method for the patients. Reproducibility is ensured by means of the acceptance limits provided by the software. The software also provides real time alarms that notice and guide the operator to make the maneuvers in a suitable and reproducible way. The invention provides a way to ensure reproducibility in the tests generating assistance to the operators which guides them throughout the process so that they can conduct the tests in the same way for all the patients.

Abstract: A computer readable medium stores a program for managing multiple types of middleware transport modules for accessing business logic. The computer readable medium includes a first starting code segment for starting a first middleware transport module of the multiple types of middleware transport modules as a main thread; a second starting code segment for starting a second middleware transport module as a slave thread; and a managing code segment for managing the main thread and the slave thread. The slave thread is managed in accordance with the managing of the main thread, and a functionality of the slave thread remains independent of a functionality of the main thread. Managing the slave thread may include shutting down the slave thread in response to shutting down the main thread.

Abstract: Design structure embodied in a machine readable medium for designing, manufacturing, or testing a design. The design structure includes an interconnect structure with a liner formed on roughened dielectric material in an insulating layer and a conformal liner repair layer bridging that breaches in the liner. The conformal liner repair layer is formed of a conductive material, such as a cobalt-containing material. The conformal liner repair layer may be particularly useful for repairing discontinuities in a conductive liner disposed on roughened dielectric material bordering the trenches and vias of damascene interconnect structures.
