  • Patent number: 10383219
Abstract: In embodiments, the present invention may attach at least two isolated electronic components to an elastomeric substrate, and arrange an electrical interconnection between the components in a boustrophedonic pattern interconnecting the two isolated electronic components with the electrical interconnection. The elastomeric substrate may then be stretched such that the components separate relative to one another, where the electrical interconnection maintains substantially identical electrical performance characteristics during stretching, and where the stretching may extend the separation distance between the electrical components to many times that of the unstretched distance.

  • Patent number: 10376679
Abstract: A medical balloon comprises a first end, a second end spaced apart from the first, and a generally cylindrical balloon wall extending therebetween to define an inflation chamber. The balloon wall is adapted for inflation from a first folded configuration having a first plurality of pleats to an expanded, unpleated configuration, and deflation therefrom to a second folded configuration having a second plurality of pleats. The balloon wall includes a first layer formed of a polymer and having a substantially constant radial thickness. A second layer is firmly attached to the first layer and has a plurality of first regions of greater radial thickness interleaved with a plurality of second regions of reduced radial thickness. During deflation from the expanded, unpleated configuration to the second folded configuration, the balloon wall folds along the regions of reduced radial thickness of the second layer to form the second plurality of pleats.

  • Patent number: 10377624
Abstract: Among other things, one or more systems and/or techniques for labeling a refill contain and/or for enabling operation of the refill container by a dispensing system based upon one or more indicia of the label satisfying a dispensing key are provided. In an example, a label may be applied to a refill container. The label may comprise a first region having a first indicia that may correspond to a shape, color, and/or texture (e.g., a yellow star indicia). A dispensing system may enable operation of the refill container (e.g., installation and/or dispensing of material from the refill container) based upon the first indicia satisfying a dispensing key (e.g., a yellow key component and/or a star shape component). Otherwise, the dispensing system does not enable operation of the refill container (e.g., the refill container is not genuine or is not an appropriate refill container type).

  • Patent number: 10377981
Abstract: A beer making system may modify a beer ingredient/process recipe to adjust sensory characteristics of a desired beer. With a given ingredient list and starting recipe, a performance model of a brewing system may be used to generate an updated recipe when given a set of desired sensory characteristics of a desired beer. A user interface may permit a user to adjust characteristics such as thin/thick mouthfeel, dryness/maltiness, hops bitterness, hops flavor, hops aroma, and other characteristics. An updated recipe may change mashing schedules, boiling schedules, or other programmatically controlled aspects of a brewing system. The performance model may include heuristics as well as performance metrics derived from observing previous brewing sessions on one or multiple devices.

  • Patent number: 10381040
Abstract: A write command is received to write data in a Conventional Magnetic Recording (CMR) realm of a disk to be formatted for writing data in non-overlapping tracks. The disk includes a plurality of areas of the disk that can be formatted as a CMR realm or as a Shingled Magnetic Recording (SMR) realm formatted for writing data in overlapping tracks. It is determined whether performance of the write command would require writing to begin in a portion of the CMR realm that has not been written with non-overlapping tracks. In response to determining that the performance of the write command would require writing to begin in a portion of the CMR realm that has not been written with non-overlapping tracks, a predefined data pattern is written using non-overlapping tracks in the portion of the CMR realm that has not been written with non-overlapping tracks.
