  • Publication number: 20070167086
Abstract: Circuits, devices, systems and methods for transmitting power and communication signals are described. The invention can include a system for commanding and monitoring the status of a plurality of electrical devices and can include two or more communication modules. A primary communication module can be connected to a DC power source, and can transmit voltage signals over a single conductor, and one or more secondary communication modules can transmit current signals over the single conductor. The communication modules of the present invention can each include an interface for bi-directional communication, at least one MOSFET, an AUSART, and a microprocessor. The communication circuit of the present invention can be a bi-directional communication circuit and can include a connection to a single conductor, an encoder, a decoder, and a least one MOSFET.
