The inlet is fluidly coupled to an inlet tube. The inlet tube includes an inlet temperature sensor. A controller is positioned within the cabinet. The controller is in signal communication with the inlet temperature sensor. The water heater appliance also includes a control panel in signal communication with the controller. The control panel includes a display. A method of operating the water heater appliance includes the controller receiving a set-point temperature from the control panel, determining an inlet temperature via the inlet temperature sensor, and indicating the inlet temperature on the display of the control panel via an inlet temperature indicator.

The method may include transmitting a pulse-input code to the furnace. The pulse-input code being based on the analyzed temperature profile. The method may include directing operational parameters of the furnace based on the transmitted pulse-input code.

Abstract: A method of reporting on the quality of repair work performed on an article such as a vehicle including the steps of: (1) identifying occurrences of quality problems in repair of an article at a repair facility, (2) generating quality data on the occurrences of quality problems of step (a), (3) electronically transferring the quality data to a computer database, (4) sorting the quality data in the database and (5) producing a report of the sorted quality data. A system for practicing this method includes one or more repair shops in communication with a computer. Data on the insurance of quality problems during the repair of vehicles is transmitted from the repair shops to the computer which then sorts the quality data in the database and produces reports of assorted quality data to provide information to repair shops, insurance companies and manufacturers.

Abstract: A method of evaluating the business performance of a member such as an automotive collision repair shop in an association of members in the same or similar business. Data on the business performance of the members in the association is maintained in a computer database. The individual member being evaluated electronically submits performance data to the computer containing the database. The data submitted is compared to the data on other association members stored in the database. A report on the comparison is provided back to the individual member.
