    Abstract: Methods for making hemoglobin based blood substitute preparations and hemoglobin based blood substitute preparations. The methods involve preparing a low purity erythrocyte protein fraction comprising hemoglobin protein and endogenous non-hemoglobin protein complement, and chemically modifying the proteins in the protein fraction to form a cross-linked hemoglobin containing blood substitute preparation. The low purity erythrocyte protein preparation can contain from at least about 0.2% (mole/mole) up to about 20% (mole/mole) endogenous non-hemoglobin protein complement. At least about 90% (mole/mole) of the hemoglobin proteins can be cross-linked, so that the average molecular mass of cross-linked proteins comprising hemoglobin protein molecules in the preparation is at least about 300 kDa. The preparations can be used to prepare finished blood substitute formulations for in-vivo and ex-vivo use.

The method further includes generating, by way of a machine learning model, a dynamic depth image representing depth values of both the static features and the moving features in the target image. The model is trained to generate the dynamic depth image by determining depth values of at least the moving features based on the target image, the object mask, and the static depth image.

The compact x-ray tube also includes an anode coaxial with the tube housing, the anode defining a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and including a target material, and an electron focusing mechanism in the tube housing and configured to focus and accelerate the electron beam to the anode. The target material of the anode generates a high-energy x-ray beam as a result of bremsstrahlung interaction. The anode defines an interface between the tube housing and the coolant channel. The coolant channel includes a channel housing, and a coolant configured to dissipate heat from the anode.

In certain embodiments, emulsion-based formulations are provided that are capable of formulating, delivering and releasing amounts of hydrophobic drugs effective for a range of clinical applications, including inducing and maintaining anesthesia in patients.

The composition preferably comprises fabric lubricant, shape retention polymer, lithium salts, and/or plasticizers for wrinkle control and, optionally, from about 0.1% to about 20%, by weight of the composition, of solubilized, water-soluble, uncomplexed cyclodextrin. Optionally, the composition can contain low molecular weight polyols; metallic salts to help control odor; nonionic surfactants to improve performance and formulatability, a humectant, etc. The composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric. The composition is preferably applied as small particle size droplets, especially from spray containers which preferably are in association with instructions for use, especially when the composition comprises only water and perfume.
