    Abstract: GFI-protection for a wall outlet is provided by a GFI adapter which has a commercially-available type GFI wall outlet disposed within a housing. Blades extending from the screws on the GFI wall outlet plug into the slots (power, return) on the wall outlet. A shaft, accessible from the exterior of the housing, may be turned to secure the housing to the wall outlet. One or two ground pins may also be provided, to plug into the ground pin hole(s) in the wall outlet.
