    Abstract: A novel synergistic insectidical composition that comprises, in addition to carriers and/or other adjuvants or diluents, a componentA consisting of an insecticidal compound of formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl, R.sub.2 is halogen and R.sub.3 is hydrogen or halogen, and also a componentB consisting of one or more insecticidal compounds selected from the group consisting of the compounds of formulae II to XV ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl and R.sub.2 is hydrogen or methyl; ##STR3## The composition is suitable especially for controlling sucking insects.
