Abstract: A receptacle for pills or other medication to be taken at prescribed intervals of time, for example, every three hours, includes a container with a rim at the top extending around an opening, a lid engageable with the rim for closing such opening and being turnable in respect to the container so that an index on the lid will cooperate with an adjacent scale of hour designations on an exterior surface of the container for selectively indicating various times, and a locking arrangement permitting removal of the lid from the container only when the lid is turned to a selected one of a plurality of angularly spaced apart positions at which the index and scale indicate respective times having the prescribed intervals therebetween.
